You have a lot of troly people in your establishment. I find it hard to see the difference between me and them. A lot of your trolls are a lot more cut throat than me.
@ Tordeck I doubt you even know what flaming means. I have been very nice so far.

You better explain yourself, cause no, it's not. It's an poor excuse for scumhunting and it undermines other player's arguments. If anyone is following your case and a few people come by and attempt to tear it down, the best way to prevent your followers from questioning you case too is to dismiss the dissenters as scum for disagreeing. If you play the game as "people who agree with me are town, people who don't are scum" then you will likely lose the game as town. However, since that kind of simple logic can screw a town right up, the scum are tempted to use it. It's a lazy mindset too, which is also indicative of scum.
See, I agree with that thought. But I am coming at it from the angle that a town member believes he is right. He also believes that those against him are opposed to everything he is thinking.
Town members should regard their posts as pro-town and contradicting opinions that they disagree with as anti-town.
Because if they are town and they post something than chances are they mean it and think it to be pro-town. So if they see a contradicting opinion that they can't agree with or accept than that person is anti-town.
I hate mafia sometimes for this reason. I can honestly argue anything into both alignments. Normally the stronger argument is right, but sometimes you just miss things.
Coming from a supporter of the gutter that's rich. Please replace out if you are going to be childish.
Thanks

Ok, It wasn't bothering me before, but namecalling (Tordeck) and bringing up touchy subjects (D_V) is not ok. If anything like this comes from ANYONE from this point on, I will vehemently argue for their immediate replacement/modkill. Warnings have already been given, I can't believe that didn't stop this to begin with.
You post a lot of peripheral chatter like this but not a lot of content. Why is that?
That isn't content?
Its a real analysis of the role. I will post anything I can think of that will help the town.
I think I get what you are saying, but that post isn't an example of that. I will worry about Kpaca's role tomorrow, depending on the kills etc.
I actually find it interesting. His role is pro-town till the very very end. He wants the game to last as long as possible and normally that is a town victory. But if he doesn't have all of his ducks in a row at the end then he needs to make the game last longer.
As a side note he actually wants to pick weak targets people that will make it to end game.
No i do not think he is town. My point is Seppel shouldnt get a pass because everyone remembers him doing some busy work
Yeah I don't know what to think about Seppel. He really is just lurking in plain sight. That last part took a lot of effort on his part. But, I don't know really what to think about it. (Unless his real role has something to do with post or votes, which I am kind of thinking at this point since he had that stuff already noted.)
Also dv, nothing you are saying makes sense. In endgame im not protown or proscum, im prostarfish players
Yes you are!
That is the point. If the game is going to end, and the town is going to lynch the last scum but you are missing a player with a starfish than you loose.
Same with the scum winning the game when you do not have starfishes out yet.

This is my point; DV is spending time theory-crafting (incorrectly) and/or getting in OoG catfights with various parties that may or may not be in the game and not really contributing to scumhunting.
@DV: Were you voting tordeck for a policy lynch or because you actually thought he was scum? Do you have other suspects? If so, why are you not voting anyone currently?

I know, my statement was meant with a bit of sarcasm, but I don't think anyone's giving seppel a free pass for being somewhat helpful. He's still my top vig target.

Who was that masked man anyway?
MTGSalvation: Now with more Drama than Season 5 of Supernatural!
Why the vote already?
When I read Void's post, I felt the smiley (and the exclamation mark) were a bit overdone. It seemed to me to be possibly coming from a nervous player. Seeing as it was an RVS post (and the second game post at all), I think only scum can be nervous at that point.
Although, now I have read a bit of Starcraft, I doubt scumVoid would slip up like this twice as scum. Still, I think Audinho's point is valid as meta because Void eventually endgamed and won the game.
Firstly, I think it's more meta than WIFOM. Secondly, why did you use a different quote from Void? This was Void's post that TheIceMan voted him for:
Ok, so we know Seppel and kpaca (and probably AI) are not town. If we're going to lynch kpaca for being a possible CL, I'd support that, but I prefer to lynch scum first though.
Why is it not good for town? The way I see it, we now know at least three people who aren't town. That's a win for us.
Where did Arnnaria claim vig? Did I miss something?
Looking at his posts, I only see he claimed not to have the same wincon as Seppel. Doesn't say anything about his alignment. Still, what about his Lionel Richie post? Doesn't he claim there that he is Seppel's buddy?
@AsianI: Are you Seppel's buddy or not? If not, what do you think of Seppel's claim? And if you are Seppel's buddy, are your alignments known to each other?
More of the same. Flushing targets out.

His case on Seppel is just a theory which has no real evidence other than that it *could* be so. I disagree that we should lynch Seppel now. There are other more valuable targets, like scum. Sure, Seppel could be scum running a gambit, but it would be a risky gambit, which makes me think that he doesn't hold a strong power role.
GT's case on Audinho is just trying to find things where there aren't any. At least, his case on Audinho (basically bashing him for seeing Void as scum) isn't any stronger than the cases against Megiddo/Proph/Void.
I'm happy to vote Megiddo.
More notes on where power roles lay. Barns someone and places a vote.
I've had Megiddo (together with Void and Proph) as a target before I put my vote on it. I just made my mind up between those three in that specific post. Your subversion of the "town's" (as you so rightly say) focus on Proph and Megiddo just makes me think you might be trying to help them out. It makes me think you're in the same team as they are.
Your mind was helped out in placing that vote.
Who would you prefer to lynch first, kpaca or Seppel? Or in other words, what do you think is more likely, that kpaca is lying and he's actually a cult leader (or a scum pulling a gambit), or that Seppel is lying and he's actually trying to recruit 'the lost scum'.
Iso, you're easily metable. It's just a matter of using the right pieces of meta.
I hope this is a joke.
I still prefer to lynch Void.
Wessel comes in pressuring void but doesn't vote. He Questions why Audinho places a vote on Void. Then states Void is scum but still no vote.
Then I notice unsettling events of placing roles. On WG, AI, downplays Seppel as having power role.
Now moves to Void. Thinks Tordeck is town, but Tordeck pulled a 'reaction play' also. With this and the role noting.

Could he be bussing Void? I'll have to look back on Void. AI has been quieter than other games I've been in with him but no one seems concerned with him at the moment so I'll hold on looking at him unless I get some free time.

@DV: Were you voting tordeck for a policy lynch or because you actually thought he was scum? Do you have other suspects? If so, why are you not voting anyone currently?
I find not defending arguments to be scummy. It was both a policy lynch and because I find those actions scummy. Parroting other players arguments with no additional thought is not a scum tell, but when its literally just jumping from wagon to wagon well then.
You were up there on my suspects, but with asking pro-town questions I have a hard time justifying that.
Normally I am just overflowing with suspects. For everyone who is posting I am finding pretty pro-town posts this game. I keep poking the bee's nest with a stick hoping to get something I can work with but I just can't find it this game.
Grikky is my highest suspect on my list, mostly for him making statements that seem to be bad arguments to me.
Voids up there too, but he just doesn't have enough content for me to feel really solid on that.
I feel like Tordeck's posting style is anti-town in nature and so I would really like to see him go.
Megs as neutral to slight scum read for me. Half of what he says is scummy as hell and the other half is pro-town.

I guess the reason people didn't jump back to Meg is that around that time, Meg stopped posting. I don't know if he has picked that up, as I haven't been able to follow the game the last couple of days.
I hate mafia sometimes for this reason. I can honestly argue anything into both alignments. Normally the stronger argument is right, but sometimes you just miss things.

(Unless his real role has something to do with post or votes, which I am kind of thinking at this point since he had that stuff already noted.)
I am currently in two games and nothing is happening in the other. Mafia is my escape from doing work. AI has convinced me that it's in my best interest at this stage of the game to townside, so that's what I'm doing.
I'm pushing for a Void lynch because I am convinced that he is scum.
Could he be bussing Void? I'll have to look back on Void. AI has been quieter than other games I've been in with him but no one seems concerned with him at the moment so I'll hold on looking at him unless I get some free time.
Yes. I've been convinced for a while that Wessel's vote was a bus vote (it was radically different from his vote on Meg), but I didn't want to out that yet. We already have very likely scum in Audi also, and the high number of likely-scum candidates is causing the town to pull itself into too many directions at once.
I think it's time to ask people: Who do you want to see lynched today?
Today's candidates are: Void, Audinho, Wessel, Iso, and your own write-in candidate.
Please place them in the order you'd most want to see them lynched.
Really? Is that a legit point? If so thats something to think on.
Yes it is. Megs if scum is overwhelmed newb scum in a huge specialty he had reservations about joining, surrunded by some of the higher level names of our community at this time.
Just marinate on it a while.
Also I caught Nai after two posts on day one of enders mafia with similiar theory, though this was less about jokes and more about attempts to discuss irrelevent barely assoiated to the games flavor details. I refer to it as the urination theory. They basically are peeing on themselves in excitement like a puppy going for a walk.

Bonum observatione. Wessel esse videbatur oppidum ante, sed hoc est bonum Ratio.
We will begin here. Void didn't say anything notable until this next post, which I'll be truncating. You can read it in its entirety if you'd like. In this post, he has four (initially two but now I'm noticing two other small points) points to take note of:
(1) He starts out by saying he won't be trusting me, then he trusts me on the Dragon vote.
(2) He lists five people who are potential scum, then votes a sixth person. This is a universal scumtell.
(3) He uses humor and an emoticon when dismissing the humor and emoticon tell that was used against him in Starcraft Mafia.
(4) He sees two opponents with similar claims (Seppel and Kpaca) and doesn't take a stance -- he waits to see how the dust will settle. I nailed Iso in my first post of Star Trek: DS9 Mafia with this same tell.
I've bolded the points to make it easier to understand:
(3) That proof is just so damning of me that I’m not sure what to do now.
(4) Oh, joy. Another round of Kpaca vs. Seppel. Let’s see who wins this time around.
(1) Not trusting Seppel at all this game.
(1) (2) Seppel nailed it here. Dragon is scum and tordeck is a good buddy of his. I’m still liking Audinho, Meggido and Infinis (Infinis to much much lesser extent at this point) as scum.
(2)Vote: GrickyTimmick I'm also looking at Megiddo, Audinho and Infinis. (Infinis to a much lesser extent than the others)
So, Void, why did you comment that Seppel was correct in calling out Dragonheart as scum halfway through your post only to later note the modkill (and subsequent revelation that DH was town)?
Additionally, you started off saying that you were leaning town on GrickyTimmick, so I'd like to know how he became vote-worthy after one comment from Iso that doesn't actually prove anything.
Lastly, why did you make a point to declare multiple times that your suspicions of Infinis are less prominent than those of your other suspects?
Typical scum trying to make up for an error by saying 'I wasn't being serious!' and 'I did it to see the reactions'.
What about it?
Can you please rephrase this so I can understand it?
Why the vote on Gricky Timmick?
Void responds. There's a ton of responses here and a lot of them are notably suspicious. If I have spare time I'll go through them, but it's worth reading with all the things he quoted, so view this one in its entirety. I've retained the things he said to me, because they're the most important.
(6) The only thing this proves is that you cannot be trusted this game and myself. I thought you were right with your read when in fact you were wrong. This should hold credence that you are indeed an anti-town faction this game.
(5) Seppel needs to die from this one post alone. Unable to read someone… Then I am the King England.
(4) Kpaca: Does some of Seppel’s play here seem similar to Basic #55 to you?
(4) Void asks a non-town player for support.
(5) Void says Seppel needs to die, but doesn't vote, FoS, or otherwise suggest how that death could be achieved.
(6) Void deflects. Instead of defending himself, Void claims that Dragon flipping town proves that Seppel is scum. there is no evidence. This is simply a case of Void trying to discredit the speaker. This is the strongest point against Void.
This does not address the matter that you (1) Said I cannot be trusted; then (2) trusted me; (3) listed Dragon, Tordeck, Audinho, Meggido, Infinis as scum; then (4) proceeded to vote GrickyTimmick, all in the same post.
The evidence is there in post #561, and clearly marked by me in post #571.
(7) Would you like to revise your statement?
(7) Void never responds to this accusation of deflection, a continuing trend of Void simply not defending himself and hoping the arguments will blow over.
Moving on. This next point takes a lot of quotes to explain. Votes are piling on Void, and he goes off on a tangent to address D_V.
Technically you did since in the post I quoted you clearly reference another post where you berate Cyouni.
Also you are not playing the game for me. I am asking you clearly where and how was Iso's reaction bad. You so far have sidestepped, berated, and said that you aren't going to play the for me instead of answering my question.
So one more time, how and where is Iso's reaction bad and why?
...right here. D_V responds to Guardman, and Void joins the ride, where he incriminates himself:
(8) You're going to push Policy against tordeck when you have three scum reads that are valid enough to puch a case. Gt, Arn and myself. I see this as a town motivated push though.
(8) Of the three "valid" scum reads D_V has, Void includes himself as a valid scum read. This shows that he is aware of the case set forth against himself.
(9) What's wrong with knowing that there is a valid case against you? I didn't pay good enough attention to my catch-up post and players are finding that scummy, which they should.
(10) Should I be lynched, then the town will know that my reads were as true as can be, becasue I am town and will be town for the remainer of my time in this game.
(11) I am not 100% sure of tordeck's alignment so therefore there needs be a small room for margain of error.
(9) Void admits that his initial catch-up post is scummy. I explain this in my next post.
(10) I forget what this is called. But it's when you say that you're a townie too much and hope that makes you blend in.
(11) Cyouni pointed this out, but I don't exactly understand how Void is jumping around with his opinions on Tordeck.
(9) First off, you're not defending yourself against the case. You're doing the equivalent of a Yanni "pffffft" reaction. You're rejecting it for no reason and hoping it'll go away, then turning right around and saying "yeah it's a valid case."
(10) "Yup, I'm a townie. Town town town, that's me!"
(12) Void specifically describes parts of the case as "factual evidence" against him. Calling a point "evidence" is only a hop away from claiming to be scum.
(12) "I need more support for my case so please defend yourself against what is factual evidence against you."
I answered all questions that were directed to me about the catch-up post. Whether you want to accept that as a defense is up to you and only you.
And the Grand Goddamn Finale: Why Wessel is Void's scumbuddy.
(13) Remember how lots of people were asking Void questions, scrutinizing him, and so on? You remember how Void responded to everyone? Well, he forgot someone:
You're trying to cover up your mistake by saying you were actually lying. That's what makes you scum. I don't believe that you decided to try something different.
Well, gut feelings can still be put to words. What makes you trigger your gut feelings?
You see the 'slip' as convincing enough that you prefer to vote Gricky to your own reads?
...and Wessel forgot about him too. This post is the end of their communication.
===========================
Thirteen points against Void. The strongest points are (2), (7), and (12), with the remaining ten points being supporting evidence.
1. Meg
2. Wessel - I actually found AE's case very convincing
***Think they are slightly scummy, but not willing to lynch***
3. Void - I can see what people are saying, but it's not enough to convince me to want to lynch him
4. Arn - Doesn't sit right with me
5. Aud - Feels different then other games I've been in
If you cant find a replacement pm me and ill stay just because its you charm.

Iso was ok with voting Arcadic but not Void, and when asked why not Void, he gave no reason. Simply for that I am against an Arcadic lynch.
Please vote Void, then. If you need any part of the case on Void repeated, feel free to ask.
I am currently in two games and nothing is happening in the other. Mafia is my escape from doing work. AI has convinced me that it's in my best interest at this stage of the game to townside, so that's what I'm doing.
I'm pushing for a Void lynch because I am convinced that he is scum.
Here's my list:
1. Void
2. Audinho
3. Wessel
4. Iso
5. Zajnet
D_V

*AE raises hand* Save me the time.
OK. Help me out with Void.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
Interesting.
(Ha! Est idem verbum.)
Bonum observatione. + Oppidum

So your fine with the policy lynch huh?
Anyone else that has tordeck on their list I'd love to know why.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
Stop. Faking. This. Pr.
My reaction:
AI's reaction:
Wessel's reaction:
Void responds. There's a ton of responses here and a lot of them are notably suspicious. If I have spare time I'll go through them, but it's worth reading with all the things he quoted, so view this one in its entirety. I've retained the things he said to me, because they're the most important.
My responses:
(7) Void never responds to this accusation of deflection, a continuing trend of Void simply not defending himself and hoping the arguments will blow over.
Moving on. This next point takes a lot of quotes to explain. Votes are piling on Void, and he goes off on a tangent to address D_V.
...meanwhile, Guardman and Tordeck are having a conversation that converges with the above conversation after a bit...
...right here. D_V responds to Guardman, and Void joins the ride, where he incriminates himself:
(8) Of the three "valid" scum reads D_V has, Void includes himself as a valid scum read. This shows that he is aware of the case set forth against himself.
(12) Void specifically describes parts of the case as "factual evidence" against him. Calling a point "evidence" is only a hop away from claiming to be scum.
And the Grand Goddamn Finale: Why Wessel is Void's scumbuddy.
(13) Remember how lots of people were asking Void questions, scrutinizing him, and so on? You remember how Void responded to everyone? Well, he forgot someone:
...and Wessel forgot about him too. This post is the end of their communication.
===========================
Thirteen points against Void. The strongest points are (2), (7), and (12), with the remaining ten points being supporting evidence.
***I'm tying the noose as we speak***
1. Meg
