Well, I threw a lot of new stuff into the game. Some things worked, some things didn't, and one of the key features of the game died day 1. I was really sad at that.
I also want to apologize for my lack of time during parts of this. I just could not keep up with IRL stuff and here for a while.

I've never really been a neutral before. To be perfectly honest, I actually did misunderstand my role at first - I thought I copied shots rather than stole them. I basically tried to play like town D1, and I ended up being a major factor in the Seppel lynch, which was ultimately my undoing. By D4 I was pretty sure we were way ahead, so I tried anything I could to lynch someone other than Arcadic (see my attack on KJ, and how quick I was to jump on Void for what I thought wasn't really a "scummy" play rather than a misunderstand). I thought Arcadic was the last scum. It's a shame that Shalako got vigged (who nominated him? That guy deserves a medal) because then presumably we would have lynched Arcadic and I would have won the next night.
In the end, though, I've got to hand it to the town. They played extremely well and I think I lost this game more through getting 3 scum in 4 days than anything I personally did or didn't do.
GG guys, I am sad that I was wrong about Arcadic, and pretty disappointed in Void's play, but we held it together pretty well as a town and got the bad guys. Props to the vigs for getting Shalako, I'm not sure I would have caught him.
I'd like to hear Seppel's reasoning behind his initial choices, since they seems very weird. Lynching Seppel day one was huge, the game would have been almost impossible to follow if the alignment changing had got going.
Thanks for the MVP nomination ced, I'd like to counter-nominate yourself, since you played a very solid game, and I don't think anyone ever suspected you. Well played to Shalako as well, he was head and shoulders above the other scum.
After Tordeck died my only goal was to live long enough for you to fufil your Win-Con.
at Mafia Kill being Roleblockable after Arithmetic Mafia. for me having no idea how my ability work. For E_P not telling me if TIM counted as a Threat to the Town.:argh: at Iso for still not understanding why lying for a bad reason is bad.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
The evil in this game comes from a cult-like scum team. The leader is in full control of the group, the others in the group do not know each other are or who the leader is, and alignments may or may not change through the course of the game.

I was completely honest when i said i had simply forgotten some key things in this game. Still, i was surprised that my lynch didn't happen. I should have been lynched for my piss-poor play and memory. I don't get mislynched often, but damned if i won't fight it to the bitter end.

I'll take both the blame and some of that praise for the nomination. Cracking the nuiances of the vig role was the only reason i even decided to nominate someone.
There's no indication that the Leader picks who his scumbuddies are. It hints at Puppet Master and Puppet Overlord, but not Puppet Maker.
EWP: Unless you're referring to the fact that the scumteam is "cult-like"?
I liked the fact we didn't know the scumleader picked his buddies. I like that we knew alignments would change and that we knew the scum didn't know each other.
One of the biggest issues I had with my role in this game was how disaffected it left me. I like the intent of the role - which is to try and prolong the game/stop either side from winning too quickly. When it worked - for instance, the tension I experienced on D4 trying to get Void and then KJ mislynched - it was super fun. The problem, to my mind, is that if everything is going fine (i.e. neither side is winning too quickly) I just felt like I didn't care - i.e. the traditional problem with survivor roles - see Day 3. On the other hand, I wish there was some way that I could have known earlier that the scum team was crippled with Seppel dead (the rolename wasn't a big enough hint) or that there were only three scum and that I should have been trying to mislynch townies earlier. What I'm trying to say is, I think the idea of a neutral who wants to keep the teams balanced and make the game last is cool, I just wish I had more tools at my disposal to do so, whether that be actually being able to use my abilities (I couldn't forsee a situation where it'd be prudent to do so), or just have a little more knowledge in order to better know what I needed to do to fulfill my wincon, rather than sit around and wait for the next night.
I am inclined to agree with that assessment. On paper I thought the role was great, but I saw the frustration of not being able to use those collected roles growing and you were simply left with no way to figure out how much time you had.
Not sure what I'd do differently there, but I'd definitely do things differently.
Cant speak for shal, but I just didnt see you as a threat. You were too busy tunneling on Manders. to me, keeping you alive at least till a manders' death would be more helpful to us.
I thought you were bullet proof and seriously my gameplan if I got run up to was just to claim scum and promise to shoot you and rinse and repeat until TIM won.
I also want to apologize for my lack of time during parts of this. I just could not keep up with IRL stuff and here for a while.
Total bullocks that he didn't get called on CCing me, given his history of CCing town as scum (which I didn't know until later on).
E_P, I was disappointed that you never answered my question about my role.
The Vig club seems kinda broken if no one in it is scum.
And I was totally right about tordeck - though for incorrect reasons.
Anyway, GG, all, and I feel like I missed a lot of the jokes in this game simply because of when I joined MTGS.

Day 1 Seppel kill was at least half of our victory.

Shalako was going to be my next lynch choice.
I would not have picked tordeck and shalako if I were Seppel. Weird.

Kudos to the Town. Still had fun in this game.

Yeah I dunno what was up with that.
I thought we chosen before the game started. It's too bad I was pretty much worse then a Goon.

I'd like to know about the other vigs, who else voted him?
If you reread, you will notice that during the final days I totally dropped it.
It was just a way to have fun. The only difference with Manders and Iso is that nobody ever accused me of faking my PR .
[The Family] pressed the "lynch" button, thinking it was labeled "lunch" .
Only MH/void, Toastboy, and atlseal/archonoid had posting restrictions.
BTW, the flavor of the game was The Room. MH/void was Tommy Wiseau and the PR reflects that.
I didn't. I figured he was just wrong as opposed to scummy wrong.
And I caught that you dropped the PR. lol.
Interesting scum mechanic though. "Pick your scum team." I like it.
Personally, I believe the wording is fine. Reading between the lines of the members not knowing who each other are is a dead giveaway.
Sorry to everyone that I needed to replace out. I just don't have the time that I used to for playing mafia.

Remember I replaced in.

Could you please be more specific in the way you answer questions?
Btw Did TIM count as a threat against the town or not?
