I've chosen Mishra, Artificer Prodigy as my next general due to the fact it is not seen very often. People want to see how he works even if it is something as oppressive as Nether Void. I got most of my ideas from google searching multiple lists and reading forums on how to make mishra work and gatherer to find certain things. I certainly didn't invent the wheel so to speak with the nether void interaction, but i thought there was room for innovation when approaching him as a general, and used nether void as a base. I'd say ombolis' "A Tale of Two Mishra's - Storm and Stax" was most of my inspiration for approaching the deck.
1) Cast an artifact spell 2 triggers happen: Nether Void wants you to pay 3 more for your spell or it gets countered, and Mishra is going to search your library, graveyard, etc for a card with the same name as the card you just cast.
2) Stack the triggers so that Nether Void resolves first so that the spell gets countered (effectively putting it into the graveyard), Then Mishra's search trigger resolves it pulls the cast card out of the graveyard into play.
Sorry, I have to ask because I can't see it: what does Mishra, Artificer Prodigy do for you?
If I can read the card well, you need multiple copies of the same card for it to be useful. And since EDH only allows 1-of each card... Yep.
I can't see the combo with Nether Void either.
Basically while Mishra and Nether Void are in Play your artifact spells cost their normal cost, and everyone else has to pay 3 for every spell they cast.
How this works:
when you cast an artifact spell 2 triggers happen: Nether Void wants you to pay 3 more for your spell or it gets countered, and Mishra is going to search your library, graveyard, etc for the card you just cast. You have to stack the triggers so that when Nether Void resolves the spell gets countered effectively putting it into the graveyard, Then when Mishra's search trigger resolves it pulls the cast card out of the graveyard into play.
Dobes,
Nice looking deck; how much playtesting have you done so far please?
This is literally the first rough draft that i made off the top of my head with no testing, but this weekend i plan on testing a good bit so i can iron out some of the weaknesses. I didn't even think about it yesterday, but I can already see problems with the deck without testing, or atleast cards that i've left out un-intentionally such as strip mine and wasteland.
as changes come i'll post them so stay tuned, and feel free to add suggestions to changes you see fit. I'd be happy to hear them.
Re-Focused the list and basically cut it down to 3 basic paths to victory with little synergies here and there. Voltron, Slaver, Tendrils. Time Sieve is the legal version of Time Vault, and i've put plenty in here to make it feel like time vault. Goblin Welder is probably the single most powerful card in the deck especially if you get a myr battlesphere + time Sieve. Stay tuned for the updated OP
I have ALWAYS wanted to see an EDH deck with this guy as the commander, and the Nether Void idea actually makes him pretty damn awesome. Props to you for that idea. Almost makes me want to try it out... (starts looking under the couch for Nether Void money...).

Haha thanks, i can't take credit for the Nether Void idea, but it does make the general much more attractive.
I also like this deck concept a lot. Mishra, Artifcer Prodigy is superficially an unplayable general but a Nether Void kind of turns him plus artifacts into the stoneblade, doesn't it? I like it. I'd probably try running a Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed in this deck just in case the original Nether Void gets axed. I might try Copy Enchantment, too; late in the game, 3 mana isn't that big a deal, but 6 kind of is.

Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed is an excellent suggestion i'm going to swap out sharding Sphinx for it. Unfortunately though, if you copy enchantment Nether Void you will still be left with one since it's a world enchantment :[ But there is Trinisphere that basically each spell cost atleast 6 for the opponent.
EDIT: i forgot i didn't have Lightning Greaves in here so i cut Timetwister for those. Plus, 2 wheel effects are more than enough imo, and i never really liked how twister played out in my games

World enchantment? Daaaaamn. I forgot. That is old school!
added deckstats link for updated list along with OP for your convenience, and changed Xiahou dun to recall. I mainly did this because recall synergizes with the deck more and is more cost efficient, and is basically the regrowth this deck really wanted imo. also, as mentioned earlier i changed timetwister to Lightning Greaves for extra protection for mishra or another beater that may be out.
Looks good so far any reason dark ritual has a slot over many other cards that may be more beneficial?
good games tonight, bud. you made me realize some things and ultimately changed the deck a fair amount.
here are the changes:
Everflowing chalice>Lion's Eye Diamond: chalice didn't really help me too much prior or during yawg win and overall lackluster whereas LED helps get cards i want in the yard get there especially while goblin welder is online, and actually helps me cast tendrils when going for yawgwin
Steel Hellkite>Blightsteel Colossus: Basically, i hated having to try and get through with hellkite just so i could ratchet bomb something, and i've been trying to fit in colossus since day 1, because he's his own win con.
Myr Turbine>Cyclonic Rift: I wanted another removal spell in the deck, and the turbine although nice on paper it was pretty poor in reality.
Smokestack>Fact or Fiction: i personally believe this deck doesn't want smokestack because it's too slow to get rolling, and i don';t have much for tokens to support it. I've been winning more games off the back of Nether Void and Winter Orb to make that my stax package that wins me the game not prolongs it.
Overall i've dropped the curve slightly and have been happier with these changes, but more testing is to come.
Blood Funnel is nice, and i do agree it does interact with mishra very well but i didn't like it since it's pretty useless without mishra, and playing as many non-artifact non-creature spells as i am i feel it would be a liabaility more times than not.
Time sieve was pretty cool, and i tried to make it feel like time vault but i felt i had to dedicate too many slots for it to make it consistent( Wurmcoil Engine/Thopter Assembly/Myr Battlesphere/Voltaic Key) , but who knows i might put it back in. It might even be better than yawgwin at this point since i had to cut 2 huge pieces of yawgwin.
These are the most recent changes i've made to the deck. The deck basically feels like Grim long meshed with Tezzerator, and it's been fun.
add/cut Explanations:
- Lotus Bloom and Ancestral Vision: Well Mikel123 pointed out that don't work with Yawgmoth's Will, and i hadn't' looked it up until he mentioned it, so there was no point in keeping them in unfortunately.
- Mishra's Workshop and the Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale: more and more as revisions take part this deck has become less and less a stax deck, and very mana intensive these 2 lands don't help in either of those issues.
- Sunder, Trading Post, and Umezawa's Jitte: I'm not sure if cutting the jitte and sunder is correct, but i wanted to make room for some cards to test. Trading Post has just been lackluster sometimes it's a glorified Goblin Welder, but it's just worst on every other occasion.
+ Thopter Assembly, Time Sieve: 2 card combo that give's me basically infinite turns if it isn't answered.
+ Kuldotha Forgemaster, Myr BattleSphere, Precursor Golem: Basically Forgemaster is Tinker. Battlesphere and Golem feed it, but they can also feed Time Sieve. If they aren't doing that then they are beating face.
I made a similar deck a couple months back with Mishra. The combo's kind of hard to explain, but it's an infinite combo deck. Maybe it'lll give you some ideas.
Welp another night of 1v1 testing and Kuldotha Forgemaster was too slow or inconsistent. Blightsteel Colossus has never been cast nor cheated into play, and i don't have access to tinker to really abuse him. Precursor Golem is worse now that forgemaster is getting the boot.
Mishra, Artificer Prodigy interacts with Nether Void in the following manner:
1) Cast an artifact spell 2 triggers happen: Nether Void wants you to pay 3 more for your spell or it gets countered, and Mishra is going to search your library, graveyard, etc for a card with the same name as the card you just cast.
2) Stack the triggers so that Nether Void resolves first so that the spell gets countered (effectively putting it into the graveyard), Then Mishra's search trigger resolves it pulls the cast card out of the graveyard into play.
3) ????
4) Profit.

EDIT:
Some changes im testing out are fact or fiction to ancestral vision simple fact is post yawg will its a free ancestral recall and by itself it's still pretty strong especially early. I'm also considering changing everflowing chalice to Lion's eye Diamond for the same reason.
good games tonight, bud. you made me realize some things and ultimately changed the deck a fair amount.

Tendo Ice Bridge, Great Furnace, Vault of Whispers, Crystal Vein, snow-covered Mountain> 3 snow-covered island, 2 snow-covered swamp: basically having gone through one game where i got blown out by having more than 1 artifact land, and realizing i didn't need that many since i wasn't running trinket mage in my deck made me do this, and the deck is heavily UB, plus it gives me a little more resilience against Moon effects.

Dropped the time sieve bullcrap for duress, thoughtseize, IOK, mind twist, and Transmute Artifact. Also, cut Wurmcoil engine for Blightsteel Colossus.
Updated the OP
I don't think that you can play Ancestral Vision off of Yawgmoth's Will.
I love Time Sieve and the deck would be 19% cooler if you were able to keep it in.
Liliana of the Veil should probably be in every blackdeck.
Agree that Smokestack is too slow in singleton formats. Bummer, because it's a great card in 4x constructed.
Blood Funnel should be an auto-include in any Mishra deck.
I guess i never looked it up, but you're right i can't use Ancestral Vision nor Lotus Bloom with Yawgmoth's will. What a shame. I suppose i'll try cabal ritual in Lotus Bloom's place for now since i get threshold fairly easily and quickly. i'll put Sensei's Divining Top in AV's spot.
Liliana of the veil is definitely something i'm considering.
Blood Funnel is nice, and i do agree it does interact with mishra very well but i didn't like it since it's pretty useless without mishra, and playing as many non-artifact non-creature spells as i am i feel it would be a liabaility more times than not.
