so it tries to lock you down at 1-2 lands and make you think about every spell you play (the kraken, which I personally love). I feel like I want some more permission, possibly in the form of spellstutter sprite because they shouldn't be playing any big spells anyway. Any suggestions?

It's kind of another moment when we throw our hands up and go "DAMMIT universe, why you gotta always make me look bad in front of everyone?".
eye of nowhere might be of some interest to you then. you need tempo against fast aggro decks and better combo. -4 reality strobe, -2 cryptic command, -2 venser or something..your curve needs to be lower, +4 remand, +4 rune snag/mana leak

Counters are a No-no.
In a bounce deck, if you aren't bouncing everything +lands they drop, then you aren't doing it right. If you need to start countering, you lose.
It's understandable blue control players would be shocked and in denial at the notion of this card, since their decks have been dominating multiple formats for an eternity yet they've curiously never once had to deal with any counter-hosers that weren't ineffectual, narrow CRAP.
Cryptic is the only permission spell because it doubles as a bounce spell.
I thought about eye to nowhere... I cut it because it's a sorcery though. Maybe instead of consign to dream.

the biggest problem with your bounce spells is that they're 1 to 1, ie person plays one thing, tempos back one turn. you're absolutely toast against a deck like zoo where they're opening answer to that is land, critter. t2, land, critter critter. any kind of weenie rush deck is going to overwhelm this one, which is why you need tempo counters like remand and rune snag. if you'd like some older advice on the deck ,look up a deck called owling mine. it ran on the concept and had a lot of the same problems, and it ran red for creature removal, too.
I beleave this deck might want to be red blue... for reasons weltkrieg mentioned.
I mean your opponent goes land goblin guide, what you gonna do pongify it? die to it? red allows you to play things like pyroclasm to deal with these problems and things like lotus cobra (sorta) you could even run stone rain and the such which is technically the same as bouncing the land... sorta.
Deck feels like it takes too long to win, and if you miss two bounces (which you probably will) you'll probably get steamrolled even against control. At least you got allota built in dark depths hate!!
The white and black is also in the deck so that you can play some sideboard cards. The Fetch lands help you to not draw to many lands. Jace beleren and slithermuse grant you crd advantage (because you have a lot of card disadvantage in your deck. Deny Reality helps you so that you can bounce 2 cards with it, if he allready has to many cards in play. Momentary Blink is also a little bit card advantage the best thing you can do with it is for 5 mana to play Æthersnipe and it so you have 2 bounce and a 4/4 creature.
another possible card would be Ghost Quarter but their is just no place in the deck. It is good against decks with no non basic lands.

My new houserules:
1. Every player saing exiled or battlefield will be kicked out.
2. Not using you mana deals 2 points of manaburn.
3. Combat damage goes over the Stack and you can freely assign it.
4. Lifelinks does stack and doesn't safe you from dying.
5. Tokens are owned bye the one who has made them.
Everyone thinking M10 will not affect a lot of cards or Limited a lot, either has no clue about magic or has never played limited or is getting paid by wizards to do propaganda.
