This is a deck I've been working on for a few weeks. It started out as an Abzan deck that sort of merged BG Snek and Sunbond/Spike Feeder. Then I went straight BG because I focussed around giving my Snake-Powered Ballista death touch, turning it into a killing machine. There's also an infinite combo with Ballista, Snek, and Rite of Passage where you use the Ballista's ability to deal a damage to itself, putting multiple counters on it because of Rite and Snek and growing the Ballista as large as you require to destroy everything (including your opponent).
Mephidross Vampire is very slow/bad and basically unplayable, just add the 4th Hangarback.W and A.Worker.
If you do this then 16/20 of your creatures are colorless making Ancient Stirrings (can find Basilisk Collar) pretty much a strict upgrade to Traverse the Ulvenwald without needing to wait for "delirium" (you want to cast your cantrips turn 1/2 if possible).

Thanks! I think those changes will help... although Stirrings can't find a Snake.

I think I'm in love with this deck. When I get back home, ill have to sleeve this up and play it. And considering all creatures but the Snek is a construct....maybe metallic mimic? Its kinda slow, where Overseer is just better. I think it would be funny.
Omg....it IS a beast....Damn it wizards!!! Lol. Why?!
Flavor reasons, it's a naturally occurring being on Mirrodin where artifact life is quite common, not a bunch of slag metal animated by conscious magical effort.
Sort of like the difference between a Spirit and an Illusion.

Steel Overseer would be very good here.
