Quote from willows »You could use "as long as an opponent has"
Bone Dog (Common)
2B
Creature — Hound Skeleton
2/2
Ability — Bone Dog has +2/+2 if an opponent lost life this turn.
Correct. For continuous effects "as long as" is appropriate. It's only one-shots that get "if." Compare Werebear to Cabal Ritual.
The original ability will never "trigger" multiple times per turn because it's not a triggered ability. Still static, correct phrasing or no.
Finally, creatures always "get" rather than "have" power and toughness bonuses. They "have" abilities continuously and "gain" abilities temporarily.
