After discussing it with cuttups over facebook, this card has become less impressive. There are too many other BW cards that seem better than this. The card is sweet, but I don't see it cracking smaller lists.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
I like it fairly well, and I don't think that they could have reasonably pushed it much more.
It may not be in the top 3-4 but I will happily pick one up to keep it as an option. I find cards like this and dreadbore as my cube gets a higher and higher percentage of walkers it is nice to have cards that deal with them, and are useful else-wise.

Yeah it might make my list on that factor as well. This would make the second or third dedicated control card in my cube that could hit opposing walkers directly. Not ideal for sure, but interesting.
I like it a lot but even running seven guild spells in my 720 (no signets/lands don't count) I don't think it makes it in. If lands were in or if it were choose two it'd be a snap include though.
It needs a little less or a little more: 1 less mana or one more effect (a Taste of Blood for each permanent exiled would have been sweet). As it is I don't think that it makes the cut.
I could see it as a future necessary evil if we keep adding more 'Walkers to Cubes. By then though, we hopefully have better options available.
I think it's 1-mana too expensive. Or I need to be able to choose 2 modes.
This. It wouldn't have been incredibly overpowered for one man less or with two modes. As it is now, it is a very good Limited card but that is where it ends.
Lots of harshness for this card, but I guess I see it as more borderline than most. (Than again I love terminus and most cubers aren't using it).
The way I see it is that 4 mana sweepers are auto-include and 6 mana sweepers are all borderline. Larger cubes, people needing to fill a hole, or those with a special effect may see play in certain cubes.
Does this do anything special? Not really compared to cards with WW. It seems pretty similar although it does have the planeswalker part.
But what about for 5-color goodstuff/control? What about B/w or B/G or almost monoblack decks? W/B is way easier than W/W. And sweeper chocies outside heavy white are really bad.
Maybe I am just biased because I got creamed by my buddy's superfriend tapout control he drafted on Sunday. I was playing G/B reanimator and would have been able to splash this super easily.
And currently I don't own a vindicate, so if I get one of these first it will ride in the #4 slot in B/W for me.
I like Eviction a lot but it's got too much competition in cube. It's probably the ~9th best Ozhov card and cubes need to be really huge to run 9 cards in a guild.
I can't stand 6 mana sweepers. I just don't think they're very good. Catastrophe, Austere Command, and Akroma's Vengeance aren't good enough for my 600 card list, so this is obviously not going to make the cut.
I'm surprised you don't like Catastrophe. It's the only sweeper that's great when you're losing and even better when you're winning. The cost isn't actually that relevant.

I'm getting to this point. Maybe I'm pushing aggro too much but 6 mana is just too damn slow lately. I've had a lot of great times with catastrophe but it may be time to take it out.

I've still had plenty of success with Catastrophe. Mediocre sweeper? Yes. Mediocre Geddon? Yes. But being able to run a sweeper that doubles as a door-slammer is still good enough for my cube at least. I don't think the comparison to Austere Command and Akroma's Vengeance is valid.
I like it, a lot. 6 mana wrath is fine with this much versatility.

I feel compelled to repeat everything I hear
Right now, I am definitely not down. Down with this card.

No ****, that would be a better Catastrophe. I would cube that in a heartbeat. So sad that it doesn't have that lands clause.

This was exactly my first reaction. Too bad, it would have been a good cube card either way. Not as printed though.
