Vote for the poem(s) you feel is the best (up to two). Remember to adhere to the "Honor Code" when voting.
While it is understood there is no absolute means to monitor the intent of a vote, we ask each PRC participant to exercise integrity when voting out of respect for the contest:
- Please give each poetry submission an equal opportunity in attaining your vote.
- Please read, or at least skim, all the entries before voting.
- Please do not vote for your friends just because they're your friends.
The Poetry Running Contest puts good faith in its participants to act in an honorable manner.
Contestants, remember, you are required required to vote (and you can't vote for yourself)!
Happy voting!
*Interested new participants should submit their poems here.
I am Putting my votes in for Ophidian Eye the science guy and Senior Blippmeister.
I enjoyed the passing of time and fading of dreams in Pudding.
The Word Dances were nicely formed and clever, my second vote goes to them!

I voted for Inevitable, because I think its writer is so easy to curse. Actually, I've been feeling a little young man's angst and felt this gelled with my current jaded anger. Also, my vote totally broke the tie going on.
Woebegone, because, well, deal with it. I liked the use of language and the theme, also I thought her name was clever
Yes, it would be nice to get more than six voters. It is sad to see a poll end three days into voting by virtue of no one else reading and voting on our poems. I put a whole five to ten minutes of effort into these, golldarnit.
I also tend to feel bad for poems that get zero votes, especially when they contend with the quality of other poems. A zero does not reflect the quality of those poems. I think it stems from the limited voter pool. I try to be the first to vote every time a poll opens so I don't get swayed by the amount of votes the poems have.
Here are the Poetry submissions for this week:
Pudding by Ophidian Eye
Inevitable by Crusible
Word Dances of Seduction for ****** by Blippy the Slug
woebegone by Preve
Christ Within by Stifle
Pickup Lines (for dearly departed) by AmShegar

and Inevitable, the subject matter was compelling and I liked how it flowed.
Thanks to Xenphire @ Inkfox for the amazing new sig
