Doesn't even say hi (how rude). Had already drawn his hand and mulliganed before i even rolled my die (pretty sure thats against the rules), then proceeds to spam "Ok?" over and over until i tell him he needs to relax, so he gives me a "Noob!" card; how classic. I then proceed to leave.
Why do people need to act like that? It's a game....I thought the idea was to have fun, not to be a complete dick to other people. *Shrugs*

Basicly I get sucked into a 10 minuite argument about the stack, he says my phantasm doesnt trigger till his spell resolves, I argue that his wound is counterd and I dont get a poison counter, in the end he tells me to learn the rules before playing.

He was actually right. The oracle text of Contamination also says 'at the beginning of your upkeep..' and he does get to choose which of these simultaneously triggered abilities he puts on the stack first.
Except that Nether Spirit doesn't trigger at the beginning of his upkeep if it's IN PLAY. The lock works, but he has to start his turn with the Spirit in his graveyard to get it to trigger at which point he can order the triggers so that the Spirit returns and is then sacrificed to Contamination.
He mindslavers me and then proceeds to play my Attrition for me and kill his Arcum Dagsson with it. I lost all my creatures, but so did he, but I got a very important enchantment on the table and still retained a six card hand. Plus, he also exiled his Clock of Omens from the top of his library in the process.

1. Snapcaster Mage -> Ponder... not on their own turn... happened to me twice now, both times I try to explain and just get a "NOOB @#%^ YOU".
2. Opponent attacks my planeswalker with a sword attached to his creature. He then claims he dealt damage to a player because "planeswalkers are players". This has also happened to me twice.
3. My opponent is losing and I cast ponder. He has 7 cards in his hand, and 5 or so untapped lands. I have 2 cards in my hand, and I ponder. I say "Ok?". He rages at me saying "why the hell would I ever counter a @#%^@'ing ponder? Just draw your f'ing card", and he ragequits.
4. I get a starting hand with two land in it. I run 25 lands in the deck. I don't draw any land for the next 6 turns and lose. I couldn't play a single thing. Opponent calls me a "noob" and leaves without going to g2. The title of the game I joined: "best 2/3 t2 no quitters".
5. Opponent wins g1 and then makes a token called "NOOB!", then spams it and gives them to me. Doesn't go on to sb g2 (because when sb comes in, they're screwed). Happens too often.
6. I attempt to redirect damage to the opponent's planeswalker. They claim I can't do that because the effect says "to defending player", and the planeswalker "isn't a defending player".
7. Opponent rolls and says he plays first. Opponent mulligans to 6 cards. Then mulligans to 5 cards. Then draws back up to 7 cards and proceeds to begin game. Completely rude.
8. We're playing a game and it's casual. We don't say "Ok?" usually for small things back and forth. We're in g2. I play a card, wait a few seconds, then play another card. I then go into attack phase (this is about 15 seconds later). I then activate an ability, and then the opponent says "Wait!" and attempts to counter my card from 15 seconds earlier (and the way it was done, it was obvious he saw my other plays and decided after the fact).
9. My opponent activates a spell obviously to tempt my counterspell. He says "Ok?". I say "Ok". He then says "nvm", and takes it back.
So I'm playing a B/R T2 Zombie deck. My opponent is playing some B/R Werewolf concoction. I'm beating him pretty handily. He blames it on crappy draws, but in my opinion it's got more to do with the deck itself, and the pilot of it is also not that good. At one point I had to tell him that a creature can't regenerate from a Tragic Slip.
In game 4 he complained that he never draws any Moonmists, just to promptly get 3 in game 3 but no creatures to make use of them. Plus, his creatures never really stay on the table anyway.
In one of the games he's at 4 life. I have no creatures in play though because he Incinerated one and killed the other with a Garruk, who is now Garruk, the Veil Cursed. Garruk produces a small wolf. He then proceeds to cast a Huntmaster of the Fells, ostensibly putting him out of harms way. However, in response the wolf dies of a Tragic Slip and I burn his face off with a Brimstone Volley. He however had already added the 2 life of the Huntmaster to his total.
I've been absolutely wailing on this guy, but for some reason he continuously asks me for rematches. 5-0 in my favor already. It's now game 6. I have a Fume Spitter and a Diregraf Ghoul (which I skillfully topdecked in my 2nd turn after playing the Spitter turn 1...) on the table against his Daybreak Ranger under a Full Moon's Rise. I play a land and attack with the Ghoul. He blocks, then sacs Full Moon's Rise, just to get the Ranger torched by a Brimstone Volley. Says he:
Then in his next turn he casts Mayor of Avabruck and immediately casts a Moonmist to turn him. He of course immediately ramps up the P/T on the guy. I tell him that in response to the Moonmist, I'd like to sac my Fume Spitter to kill the Mayor. And then he quits.
If I'm reading this right, in the last game, you swung with Diregraf Ghoul and he blocked with Daybreak Ranger, then sacrificed Full Moon's Rise. You cast Brimstone Volley on Daybreak Ranger in response. In that situation, neither the Ghoul nor the Ranger would die, as he had sacrificed Full Moon's Rise to regenerate his Daybreak Ranger. I'm just saying.
Nothing major, but I did just have a discussion via new game titles with another fellow about whether or not EDH could be played 'competitively' (in reference to a game a third party had created). Essentially, his view point was that because it was an unsanctioned format it could only be played casually, and anyone who didn't share that viewpoint was a douche. Just... /facepalm
Also just had a bit of a gem from "TrolledTroll". Unfortunately, being the idjit I am I didn't save the log. It effectively went like this - game 1 I lose to a crushingly fast assault from T1 Dark Rit into Buried Alive 3x Bloodghast, and then a few other hasty/back from the graveyard style creatures like Gravecrawler and Nether Traitor to follow up. I'm not expecting much out of G2 as I'm playing a slower 'mono black ramp deck', but I decide to not concede and see if I can pull some sort of miracle out of my butt. Opening hand is something like Urborg, Cabal Coffers x 2, Swamp, Ex Map x 2 and Hymn To Tourach. So the mana is there if I can survive long enough, and draw into either Emmy or Consume Spirit. He's whittling down my health, and on my third last turn I'm in a tight spot. I do the calcs and realise I'll be on 1 life still if I don't cast the Consume Spirit I've drawn yet and instead wait for an extra swamp to put more power into my *four* Coffers, so I pass and hope he doesn't draw anything that'll do an extra damage - he doesn't. Next turn I consume Spirit for 16, which surprisingly only looks like it'll give me 2 extra turns of life. Fortunately, the next turn I top deck... Consume Spirit, and cast for lethal.
After that I'm about to concede g3 as I know his deck should crush me and has the advantage over mine due to sheer speed, but before I can he goes "gg", and then complains about it being ridiculous that he was constantly attacking and all I was doing was playing lands (and Ex Maps to find lands, and Hymn To Tourachs) and yet I won. He then DC'd before I could rofl at him for having the obviously superior deck but getting irate about losing a single game to a really good draw.

The regeneration shield doesn't get applied until after the Full Moon's activated ability resolves. If you kill the werewolf in response to the activation, it'll be in the graveyard before it could be given a regeneration shield.

Just had a game where an idiot thought flip cards retain their mana costs. I told him "look, you're counting your wins & losses... you're saying you're 10 and 0... you just got mad about losing in game 1, and now you're arguing the rules with me in game 2... I'll give you time to look it up". He calls me a noob, tells me I lose, leaves, and starts up a new game saying he's 11-0 and undefeated.
There are people with real egotistical issues that seem to cling to a false feeling of superiority. It's annoying to watch them squabble about, tossing around name-calling in order to shield themselves from reality.

I'm playing mono-black zombies and he's just dropped a mirran crusader. doesn't matter. I've got two fume spitters and two geralf's. the exchange at the begining is him taking my messenger and sacking it. when I point out fume spitter, he gets mad. I then proceed to deal like 12 damage with just my geralf. I attack for lethal (he's at 4, I have 5 attackers including a geralf without a counter, he has 4 blocks. he blocks the geralf and lets a 2/2 through. gg. and then THIS GOLDEN GEM HAPPENS. admire my master trolling, internet. 'tis a refined art, I say.

The regeneration shield doesn't get applied until after the Full Moon's activated ability resolves. If you kill the werewolf in response to the activation, it'll be in the graveyard before it could be given a regeneration shield.
Ah, my mistake. For some reason I was thinking the regeneration ability had already resolved.

I told him he couldnt do that because the spirit's ability would only trigger at the BEGINNING of the upkeep if the spirit WAS in his graveyard.
So, for his lock to work, it would require the spirit to be in the grave every upkeep, so he could brin g it back THEN sacrifice it.
He told me I was a noob because he could order things in the stack the way he wanted and that he was using a very common lock and I was a noob...

tl;dr
Basicly I get sucked into a 10 minuite argument about the stack, he says my phantasm doesnt trigger till his spell resolves, I argue that his wound is counterd and I dont get a poison counter, in the end he tells me to learn the rules before playing.

Clan RepresentativeExcept that Nether Spirit doesn't trigger at the beginning of his upkeep if it's IN PLAY. The lock works, but he has to start his turn with the Spirit in his graveyard to get it to trigger at which point he can order the triggers so that the Spirit returns and is then sacrificed to Contamination.
I don't get what is happening here...could you possibly explain what I am missing that makes this a funny or wtf log?

I'm playing mono-black zombies and he's just dropped a mirran crusader. doesn't matter. I've got two fume spitters and two geralf's. the exchange at the begining is him taking my messenger and sacking it. when I point out fume spitter, he gets mad. I then proceed to deal like 12 damage with just my geralf. I attack for lethal (he's at 4, I have 5 attackers including a geralf without a counter, he has 4 blocks. he blocks the geralf and lets a 2/2 through. gg. and then THIS GOLDEN GEM HAPPENS. admire my master trolling, internet. 'tis a refined art, I say.

2. Opponent attacks my planeswalker with a sword attached to his creature. He then claims he dealt damage to a player because "planeswalkers are players". This has also happened to me twice.
3. My opponent is losing and I cast ponder. He has 7 cards in his hand, and 5 or so untapped lands. I have 2 cards in my hand, and I ponder. I say "Ok?". He rages at me saying "why the hell would I ever counter a @#%^@'ing ponder? Just draw your f'ing card", and he ragequits.
4. I get a starting hand with two land in it. I run 25 lands in the deck. I don't draw any land for the next 6 turns and lose. I couldn't play a single thing. Opponent calls me a "noob" and leaves without going to g2. The title of the game I joined: "best 2/3 t2 no quitters".
5. Opponent wins g1 and then makes a token called "NOOB!", then spams it and gives them to me. Doesn't go on to sb g2 (because when sb comes in, they're screwed). Happens too often.
6. I attempt to redirect damage to the opponent's planeswalker. They claim I can't do that because the effect says "to defending player", and the planeswalker "isn't a defending player".
7. Opponent rolls and says he plays first. Opponent mulligans to 6 cards. Then mulligans to 5 cards. Then draws back up to 7 cards and proceeds to begin game. Completely rude.
8. We're playing a game and it's casual. We don't say "Ok?" usually for small things back and forth. We're in g2. I play a card, wait a few seconds, then play another card. I then go into attack phase (this is about 15 seconds later). I then activate an ability, and then the opponent says "Wait!" and attempts to counter my card from 15 seconds earlier (and the way it was done, it was obvious he saw my other plays and decided after the fact).
9. My opponent activates a spell obviously to tempt my counterspell. He says "Ok?". I say "Ok". He then says "nvm", and takes it back.
If I'm reading this right, in the last game, you swung with Diregraf Ghoul and he blocked with Daybreak Ranger, then sacrificed Full Moon's Rise. You cast Brimstone Volley on Daybreak Ranger in response. In that situation, neither the Ghoul nor the Ranger would die, as he had sacrificed Full Moon's Rise to regenerate his Daybreak Ranger. I'm just saying.

Also just had a bit of a gem from "TrolledTroll". Unfortunately, being the idjit I am I didn't save the log. It effectively went like this - game 1 I lose to a crushingly fast assault from T1 Dark Rit into Buried Alive 3x Bloodghast, and then a few other hasty/back from the graveyard style creatures like Gravecrawler and Nether Traitor to follow up. I'm not expecting much out of G2 as I'm playing a slower 'mono black ramp deck', but I decide to not concede and see if I can pull some sort of miracle out of my butt. Opening hand is something like Urborg, Cabal Coffers x 2, Swamp, Ex Map x 2 and Hymn To Tourach. So the mana is there if I can survive long enough, and draw into either Emmy or Consume Spirit. He's whittling down my health, and on my third last turn I'm in a tight spot. I do the calcs and realise I'll be on 1 life still if I don't cast the Consume Spirit I've drawn yet and instead wait for an extra swamp to put more power into my *four* Coffers, so I pass and hope he doesn't draw anything that'll do an extra damage - he doesn't. Next turn I consume Spirit for 16, which surprisingly only looks like it'll give me 2 extra turns of life. Fortunately, the next turn I top deck... Consume Spirit, and cast for lethal.
After that I'm about to concede g3 as I know his deck should crush me and has the advantage over mine due to sheer speed, but before I can he goes "gg", and then complains about it being ridiculous that he was constantly attacking and all I was doing was playing lands (and Ex Maps to find lands, and Hymn To Tourachs) and yet I won. He then DC'd before I could rofl at him for having the obviously superior deck but getting irate about losing a single game to a really good draw.
The regeneration shield doesn't get applied until after the Full Moon's activated ability resolves. If you kill the werewolf in response to the activation, it'll be in the graveyard before it could be given a regeneration shield.

Just had a game where an idiot thought flip cards retain their mana costs. I told him "look, you're counting your wins & losses... you're saying you're 10 and 0... you just got mad about losing in game 1, and now you're arguing the rules with me in game 2... I'll give you time to look it up". He calls me a noob, tells me I lose, leaves, and starts up a new game saying he's 11-0 and undefeated.
There are people with real egotistical issues that seem to cling to a false feeling of superiority. It's annoying to watch them squabble about, tossing around name-calling in order to shield themselves from reality.
Oh, this is Eric W. I love him dearly. He sits in MWS days on end with either "Haters keep walking" or whatever, I usually spend my time waiting for friends coming on just messing with him, while changing my name so he thinks I am a different person.
