@Piar - I'm gonna do that -split cards - not with Fuse though (even though I came up with it on my own and even called it Fusion).

Not sure if this is good, of if people would like it, but I think the idea is kinda cool.
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Sorry for the lack of updating on my part everyone. It's finals for college next week and I've been busy with that. Your cards will be uploaded. Thanks!
EDIT: There will be a new CHALLENGE to The Ravnican Consortium! Beginning tonight, everyone is encouraged to submit a custom Guild Champion for whatever guild(s) of their choice! The rules are simple, and as follows:
1 - Can't be a legendary creature that's already been a champion. It's gotta be fresh, new, mint, etc.
2 - It has to be legendary.
3 - It has to be rare.
4 - It can't have more than 3 abilities (not including evergreen abilities).
5 - You can make however many champions for each guild you want, but you can only submit one for each guild.
6 - Has to be gold and contain the two colors of the guild chosen.
Each guild will have a champion chosen! Good luck!
Worgoth, Arena Champion (Mythic) BBRR
Legendary Creature - Human Warrior

First Strike
Berserk 2 - (B/R)(B/R)(B/R)(B/R)(You may cast this for its berserk cost. If you do, it enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it and gains haste and trample until end of turn. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step.)
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, Worgoth, Arena Champion fights it. If that creature dies, put a +1/+1 counter on Worgoth, Arena Champion.
Orzhov, Immortal Soul (Mythic) WWBB
Creature – Spirit
4/4
Flying
Orzhov, the Immortal Soul can’t die. (It can't be sacrificed and is unaffected by effects that would cause it to be put into a graveyard from the battlefield, such as lethal damage, "destroy", the "legend rule", and toughness 0 or less.)
I've been working on custom guild mechanics. I have 9/10 so far. See second post for details.
Hex is my newer idea for Rakdos mechanic.
Hexfire (Common) (B/R)(B/R)
Instant - Hex
Hexfire deals 2 damage to target opponent.
Hex 2BR(Exile this spell card from your graveyard as a hex on target creature you don't control. When that creature dies, you may cast this card without paying its mana cost.)

ContractX(X: Exile this card from your graveyard encoded onto target creature. When that creature dies, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost. Then exile it.)
Once again, iron sharpens iron. This is indeed perfect for Dimir! Of my custom guild mechanic designs, Dimir's was by far my least favorite. This will make a perfect replacement. Thanks!

Creatures in a formation with Boros Vanguard have first strike.
Formation (Creatures with formation can attack in a formation. Formations are blocked as a group. If any creatures with formation you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)
I made a supporting thread and will update any new entries I'll make to it. I started with brainstorming creatures for the Golgari Swarm (plus one or two closely associated "Gateless"/"Guildless" cards i. e. monocolor without binding mechanical tie to the guild, but thematically fitting).
I don't know who suggested it, but I really loved the Selesnyan mechanic that resembled extort. I think it was something like
Chorus (Whenever a creature enters the battlefield, you may pay WG. If you do, that creature enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
I think it really exemplifies the philosophy of the guild while encouraging fun, unique decks, as well as working well with the other guild mechanics.
Enrage seems perfect as is. Tribute is great too, but I really think that you should gain all the life paid in tribute. Much more resonant.
Invoke makes absolutely no sense. How is this Azorious, and even more so, how is this blue white?
I like reckless, but I feel like it should be used like evoke, as in it should be a cost reducer.
Hex feels forced. Beyond that, it seems like a regurgitation of Haunt without fixing any of its blaring problems. Similarly, why would you want to bring banding back in formation? Its been proven that is is too confusing.
Mutate is far too similar to heroic and isn't much better.
Combo and podular are fine, but they really aren't exciting. Combo works well as a fixed storm, but podular feels like a straight reprinting of two fairly meh mechanics-modular and scavenge.

When looking at the OP, there's still a lot of small changes that need to be made to the wording on some of the cards.
Also, we need some art to these.
Many more to come.
Now, the question is, based on the art above that I've selected, how close to actual Ravnica artwork do we want to get? There are some options:
1. Use only fanart art from Ravnica. Extremely difficult to do, if not impossible.
2. Use a combination of fanart and actual artwork from Ravnica. (Some Ravnican cards have phenominal art but are terrible cards.)
3. Use only artwork from Ravnica
4. Use a combination of Ravnican fanart as well as fanart that looks "Ravnican-ish"
Call the Flock seems too good at it's rarity level, since Midnight Haunting is 1 more mana and it's uncommon. In order to be common it would probably have to be three mana and all hybrid.
Azorius Miser is way overpowered at Common; Locust Miser is one mana more, uncommon, and only a 2/2.
I don't know how I feel about Elaborate Plan... seems too powerful since there's no restriction on what type of card you find.
Are people interested in seeing artwork go with cards like in my previous post, or is this topic not going to ever be anything serious?
Personally, I'm trying to come up with 10 new guild mechanics rather than revisiting old ones.
How's this for the Golgari Swarm guild mechanic?

Good luck!
