The problem with that one is that there is no artist credit whatsoever, which as I've mentioned before is a huge problem with wallpaper websites. There's also a lot of "do not use this picture ever" copyright jargon in the bottom right corner.
In the other thread I already posted the picture I selected for Sword of Forge and Furnace. I think you'll find it's more Steampunk themed:
On a different note, I currently only have 12 cards left from the set that I need to find artwork for, and then technically every card will have art selected. Some cards have numerous art choices, so I'll post those here separately so that people can vote on which version they like the most.
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Yeah, I know When I tried to render the some cards of the set, I was like "OMG i found THE art!" Still, it's annoying that you can't use it for those problems :/
@Comicalflop: Yeah, I saw the artwork but I found it a bit disappointing, so...
Can I also suggest this art for Titanium Sentry? I didn't checked if you already used the artwork somewhere else, but it seems way more fitting than the actual one if cutted right.
Obviously, if we want to make the arts "better" we have to create the card with MSE and attach the art separately with a Photoshop-like program, because MSE transforms all the arts in PNG, lowering the quality of the image.
EDIT: Found a good image for Mindslaver by Darius Zawadzki. Check it out!
I think what we should do is just go through each color in order, OK-ing or denying the art for each card. This will let us also figure out what's missing.
ComicalFlop, It would be helpful if you could repost your art, starting with just the white cards. (Sorry if that's trouble, but going back and forth is a huge hassle.)

The seven cards remaining are Rehabilitating Sentence, Viashino Gambler (I think I have some clown/harlequinn art that can work in its place) Awesome Longcoat (I probably already have the best photo just not matched up yet), Builder's Plate, Emergency Ejector, Iron Wisp (I think a new rare artifact creature needs to be designed for this slot, since the clockwork mechanic is too weak and Steel Caller does basically the same thing), and Timed Explosive. Given another day or so I could probably come up with pictures for those, most likely by changing the card name/theme to fit a picture I already have.
I also need to show the cards which have numerous art pieces selected, so that people can vote on their favorite. For instance:
or
Reposting everything I have into one post is going to take me hours to do, since I have to make a .jpg picture of every card in a batch, but upload to a hosting site individually. What might be easier is if I just upload my .MSE file, assuming other people also have Magic Set Editor. If people would rather see everything in this thread and are ok with me doing things one color at a time, I can have every white card posted tomorrow evening.
Or, I'd have to make a new .MSE file with only the completed cards and create a .ZIP with the entirety of all the .JPGs. Whichever I end up doing, I'll have it ready for this week, and we can begin voting.
I'm not sure exactly how you posted your images, but is there not a way you can simply copy and paste them from the first time you posted all the white images? The easiest way for us to do this would be to basically have the images in the same way you posted them earlier, but in a more recent post so we don't have to go digging to talk about them. Alternatively, we could just have a link that redirects to the post where you posted them the first time.
Your first art for Mara is closer to what I had imagined, though she does seem older than our original concept. If it helps, this is a character I don't expect to look very steam-punk. She's was a poor factory worker who lost everything she had, forced to fend for herself with the help of some persuasive outlaws. The first art looks a bit too high society for my tastes, and the second doesn't really fit her, especially since she was designed with a distinct "not chandra" quality, so a red head with goggles is not exactly what we're looking for.

While we're doing the image selection I would like to simultaneously work on formatted art descriptions for each of the cards. That will allow us two distinct views of the set, one closer to our original ideal, albeit less visually interesting, and another that, while not as close to our original vision, is more visually stunning.
By doing both we open ourselves to a number of interesting opportunities later on. First, it will allow us more varity to pick and choose which version reaches the finally set. Second, it allows outside new comers a choice of which vision of Archester they would like to see and play with. Finally, in creating the art descriptions for the cards we might stumble upon a description that evokes a image that we already have and in the process better marry our two distinct visions.

Two notes: Cyrian Flockwinder is another card I don't have art for, because I can't find any artwork for mechanical goats that works. I would much rather design my own white uncommon creature using artwork I already have. I also see that Nature's Keykeeper seems to not be in the set in the Multiverse, even though it's on page one of the main thread?
As I've stated before, some cards have numerous art selected, and they are shown as separate cards. Please provide feedback about which artwork is the best. (Good luck on deciding between the Cogbound Stallion artwork, all three kick butt!)
Granted we probably can't use that because of other issues but that's much closer to my imagination. It puts the stark frontier into perspective and makes it feel like more of punishment.
I think you've focused too much on "This is a steampunk set" with your current artwork. This is not just any generic steampunk world, this is ARCHESTER. Our world building took months and simply slapping any old steampunk artwork on a card regardless of the setting, card description (if present) or even the flavor text of the card (most of which was concept'd with card during its creation therefore making it even more important to the card's design) seems irresponsible.
Don't get me wrong Comic you've done a good job finding a wide variety of "steampunk" art. The problem is Archester isn't simply any old steampunk world so any old steampunk art doesn't work for everything.
Look at your Rehabilitating Sentence in contrast with mine for example.
Which of these fit the flavor text more? Which gives more a look at the world of Archester? Which feels like a Rehabilitating Sentence?

I'd like to publicly apologize to Comic if my critique of the artwork he has found thus far came across as overly harsh. It wasn't intended to be. It came from a desire to stay true to the world we have been building over the last year+. I meant for it to be constructive.
Let's continue the discussions we've been having here, they've been quite productive.

I'm not really a huge fan of some of your flavor changes. We worked very hard to create a cohesive world and some of the art and name changes that you did threw several massive wrenches into that world's flavor.

I have to applaud your work Comicalflop. "Canon" or not, you've done a great job at finding art for this set. Hats off to you.
I do have to agree with Raptor1210; we did a lot of work on building the world of Archester, and while I'm flexible on a few points, others I don't feel like giving up. I don't want to devalue the work you've put in, I can't imagine how much time it took to find all of this, but I do wish we could have worked together on finding art to match our flavor or creating flavor that could better suit your art. I doubt this set will ever really be worked on again, everyone seems to have moved onto other things (which is fine, since we basically did finish the set and just didn't develop it), and you'll always be free to re-imagine and reinterpret it however you want. I just hope you can see Archester as an inspiration (like I know a few others do) instead of a disappointment.

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
