A while ago, I saw a hilarious mockup for a Yawgmoth planeswalker:
I was thinking about how you could possibly use it. Since it has no casting cost, you have to cheat it into play - but that's the easy part (you can just use a card with cascade or something). The hard part is how to keep it alive when it has 0 loyalty counters.
I think I came up with a solution, but I'm not 100% sure if it works. Can someone weigh in?
Now everything is an artifact creature that gets +1/+1.
Cast Gideon Jura (or any other Planeswalker for that matter) - he'll be a 6/6 artifact creature planeswalker with 6 loyalty counters.
Cast Clone choosing Gideon.
The planeswalker uniqueness rule comes into effect. Sacrifice the original Gideon, leaving the Clone.
The Clone is a 6/6 artifact creature planeswalker with 6 loyalty counters.
Cast Mirrorweave targeting Unstable Shapeshifter. Now the Clone is a 5/5 (or 1/2, I'm not actually sure but it doesn't matter) Unstable Shapeshifter with 6 loyalty counters.
Cheat in Yawgmoth with cascade or something.
Yawgmoth enters as an artifact creature planeswalker that's 1/1, but it dies immediately due to having 0 loyalty counters
However, the Shapeshifter and the Shapeshifted Clone's ability triggers when Yawgmoth enters, and they both become Yawgmoths. Sacrifice the original Shapeshifter to the planeswalker uniqueness rule, leaving only the Clone (which is temporarily a Shapeshifter, and has now become a Yawgmoth). The Clone-Shape-Moth is a 1/1 Artifact Creature Planeswalker - Yawgmoth with 6 loyalty counters.
Cast another Clone and choose Yawgmoth. Sacrifice the previous one to the uniqueness rule. (This way, it won't revert back to being Gideon when Mirrorweave wears off.)
Then get rid of all the other extraneous permanents (though make sure to get rid of March of the Machines before Glorious Anthem or your Yawgman will die due to being a 0/0 creature). This way, it will no longer have the Shapeshifter's ability.
Does this work? Does anyone have an easier way to achieve the same thing?
This is quite amazing, but unfortunately it does not work. Clone does not enter the battlefield with Gideon Jura's loyalty counters. Not sure where the actual rule is, but Cloning effects copy what is printed on the chosen card, nothing else.
EDIT: Nvm, I'm bad and should feel bad since they wont move until after Gideon have already died. Should be able to work around though, gimme a sec.

By default, Cloning a Gideon Jura will give you an unanimated Gideon with 6 loyalty counters. The number at that bottom right represents a replacement effect that means "This permanent enters the battlefield with 6 loyalty counters" and the clone gets that ability.
If you Clone a Kalonian Hydra, the Clone enters with four +1/+1 counters. Cloning a planeswalker would function the same and it would enter with the planeswalker's starting loyalty.
306.5b A planeswalker is treated as if its text box included, “This permanent enters the battlefield with a number of loyalty counters on it equal to its printed loyalty number.” This ability creates a replacement effect (see rule 614.1c).
But I think Clones are not needed at all in this scenario. I think several of these steps can be consolidated and simplified.
1) On the field: Glorious Anthem, March of the Machines, Mycosynth Lattice, Cemetery Puca (slightly better than Unstable Shapeshifter since the Puca's ability is optional), and Karn Liberated with 10 loyalty (as was said, any planeswalker will do, so we might as well start with one that can get up to 10 loyalty with a single activation so we can more quickly bypass the +abilities of the Yawgmoth planeswalker we will be copying).
2) Cast Cytoshape targeting the animated Karn and make it a copy of Cemetery Puca.
3) Find some way to cheat the Yawgmoth planeswalker onto the field or cast it without paying its mana cost. Maybe, for example, Fist of Suns or Omniscience. The Yawgmoth planeswalker enters as an artifact creature planeswalker ... and immediately dies because it has 0 loyalty.
4) Pay the {1} for the Karn (temporarily a copy of Cemetery Puca). Karn permanenty becomes a copy of the Yawgmoth planeswalker card and gains Cemetery Puca's ability. This effect lasts until another creature dies and you choose to pay again for the Cemetery Puca's ability.

Here's my idea:
Cast Glorious Anthem.
Cast March of the Machines.
Cast Mycosynth Lattice.
Cast Unstable Shapeshifter.

Cast Glorious Anthem.
Cast March of the Machines.
Cast Mycosynth Lattice.
Cast any planeswalker.
Cast Unstable Shapeshifter.
Cast Fate Transfer
Cascade in Yawgmoth.
The Unstable Shapeshifter should now be a Yawgmoth planeswalker(Well, Artifact Creature Planeswalker Shapeshifter) with loyalty counters.

Thanks for your input, everyone! Let the amputating begin!
