I consider a keyword that bolsters creatures when you have multiple creatures enter the battlefield. I consider using a static ability like this:
This creature enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it if another creature entered the battlefield this turn.
The general wording of this ability is styled after a subset of creatures with morbid e. g. Gravetiller Wurm.
My question concerns two of these creatures entering the battlefield at the same time (e. g. put onto the battlefield with Tooth and Nail) - my intuition says that the two creatures "see" each other in a similar way that triggered abilities work (and hence both receive a counter as part of entering the battlefield), but I find it hard to argue this from the rules; there seems to be a special rule in place to cover triggered abilities, but without a similar rule for replacement effects this might as well mean neither receives a +1/+1 counter.
Which is correct?

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Two creatures entering the battlefield at the same time would not receive the bonus (assuming, of course, that those two creatures are the first two creatures to enter the battlefield on that turn). The ability modifies how a creature enters the battlefield, and so it is applied before either creature has entered the battlefield, which cannot possibly satisfy the condition of the bonus.

Given that neither would receive a counter, you could clarify the wording by taking a cue from storm:
This creature enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it if another creature entered the battlefield before it this turn.
Then it should be easier to figure out that since the two creatures enter at the same time and neither enters before the other, then neither creature gets a counter.
... Is this a full keyword like graft or just an ability word like morbid? If it is a keyword and you do want it to apply and give both the creatures the counter, then you can make the rules exception needed just in the rules for this keyword. If it is an ability word, then you would have to make changes to other parts of the comp.rules instead.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
