Legendary Creature - Titan (M)
Deathtouch, trample It was that day his heart stopped. Bewitched, he clutched his breast and fell to a knee before collapsing onto the city below.

This card seems fairly good. Not great in any format with cheap removal. Cheating it into play with haste is not bad as well. Manipulating this card and it's ability to attack quickly or take advantage of it's power for power matters cards like rishkar's expertise is the only reason I think this could not be cheaper. Getting this shocked is so mana inefficient that you probably lose the game on the spot. My main issue is that I don't really get any flavor from either the card name or it's flavor text nothing screams big power low toughness will deal tons of damage regardless. Unlike Force of Savagery. This also does not play differently as a legendary because either it is dead or they are.
Taigam, Seeker of Redemption1URW
Legendary Creature - Human Monk (R)
Haste, Flying, Prowess He rides the mantis to preserve the Jeskai Way, seeking to atone for the betrayals that had become undone.
3/4
Taigam has good Jeskai flavor and I don't think much else. Not sure who would be playing this Mantis Rider seems better in most decks and is not legendary. Though he is solid in limited if you can afford the 3 colors.
Jareus, Blade-crafted Warden5
Legendary Artifact Creature - Construct (M)
Defender
Double strike, indestructible, reach “It is my obligation to defend this place after my creator’s death, and no one shall set foot in this place till I shatter.”
3/5
I think the premise of this card is fine. You have a creature that can survive almost all removal and board clears. It defends you and does nothing else. Dismember is the only non-exile/bounce that I can think of that will actually kill this. I don't think double strike gives good flavor with this card though. Costwise it could be at 4 mana (especially at mythic) unless the cards that allow defenders to attack make that too unreasonable but I doubt it.
I think this card is fine. The pure color cost makes the size fine at 5 mana as a mythic. They just printed the green 5 mana 8/8 with upside so this legendary huge vanilla is fine. The card is a bit boring though.
Pawam, Blizzard IncarnateSSSSSS
Snow Creature - Elemental (R) The Ice Age gave birth to compensate for the life it had taken.
8/8
I'm not much for snow cards due to not having any interaction with them throughout my life. They seem fairly parasitic. This card would only need an entire deck to made of snow basics to be easily cast on time. That being said a colorless 6 mana 8/8 is not broken. The flavor is good. Not sure how easy to cast this is in limited which is where I would assume it is at it's best.
Theelkspeaks: Just an imitation of Mantis Rider, except that you change vigilance to prowess, it feels like a lazy work here, sorry bro.
IcariiFA: I think you are make the card special by make a big difference between power and toughness, nice try, but the flavor text is pretty well written.
drewdagreek: If the dude has extensive knowledge of the terrain, he should has a better ability, like First Strike or something, not just a 3/2 weak body.
Flatline: The flavor feels very wrong to me, first strike and deathtouch, it feels more like an assassin/ninja rather than samurai. Maybe menace fits better than deathtouch.
Nozdormu13: What a boring card, it has no other evergreen ability, and the flavor text means nothing.
Folza: LOL, nice try, but no evergreen words at all? When it emerges, I don't feel despair at all. Keep the flavor, then reduce the generic mana cost, add more colorless mana cost, like 2CCCC, then add indestructible and menace or something, make it more interesting and I would have give you rank 1.
p/s: Kinda disappointed for all the entries in this round though.
Theelkspeaks-Seems pretty generic and I don't really like the fact that its a flying human monk. It just seems like three colors with three french vanilla abilities, one for each color. No real synergy. SnowBlack1021-This is super over powered for 5 mana. Schiller-This is pretty decent, a nice fat body with some sweet abilities that synergize. doomfish-I like this, just super fat with a color intensive CC. Koop-For a intense snow mana cost I think it could have been fatter or cheaper ltank-I like this, just a super durable speedy little guy

Maybe I am a sucker for odd Power/Toughness combos but this card really oozes flavor while being simplistic. It isn't super exciting, but the flavor pulls it up.

Again, being a more efficient version of a card (Whirlwind Adept) is not enough for me to feel excited.
Flatline – definitely feels legendary, though I’m not sure I like first strike and deathtouch being combined like this, especially on a body with >1 power so that it can’t be profitably multiblocked.
drewdagreek – I love the flavor on this, very cool, efficient, and elegant design!
IcariiFA – Deathtouch and Trample, with 10 Power?,10 power trample for 5 mana even without deathtouch? This card feels severely overtuned.
Jimmy Groove – double strike, deathtouch, and menace? This is a guaranteed 2 for 1 for 3 mana that requires THREE creatures to kill, and is completely breakable with even moderate pump spells to kill more blockers, but can be easily removed with 1 damage. That feels like a card that just demands massive swings.
Folza – I like the flavor, and the use of C mana as the mechanic on it, it’s slightly bland but I do like it very much! I might have considered putting some French-vanilla keyword on it, but it’s a good design!
nozdormu13 – 10 power flyer for 5 mana? Even with the low toughness, the ability of this card to end the game in two turns after coming down on turn 5 in a ground blockers and air attackers deck hurts.
nozdormu13 - Kinda cool, but the mana cost seems weird.
Folza - This card does a good job of providing interesting flavor text to make up for being totally vanilla. It seems weird for an Eldrazi Titan to be vanilla though.
Jimmy Groove - This is really strong. I like the mashup of abiites quite a bit though. Good flavor text too. Good work.
Legend - I'm not so sure about a black hexproof creature.
mirrodin71 - The mix of abilites on this are nice. I'm not sure how much I like the name and flavor text though.
netn10 - Another good job of utilizing flavor text to make up for a french vanilla creature. There are a few typos/misspellings in the FT though. Eight power hexproof for 4 CMC might be pushing it a bit though.

This card is too powerful at rare. It blocks practically everything and due to having both vigilance and lifelink wins any race. All for only 4 mana.
