SnowBlack1021 - Good, flavorful stuff. Feels like it might be too good, going off on turn 3 or so - control decks dream about such scenarios.
Just to be clear, you only get to exile ONLY 1 attacking creature and you can't choose, you only get to cast this free for FIRST time only because the second time you already control a nonland permanent. The requirement to cast for free is very strict, makes this not as good as you think.
Not sure if I can post to clarify, if not I will delete this post.
Willows - One of the only few cards that have the "Surprise during combat" feeling, but not "during your opponent combat". Maybe you want the flexibility, it is ok, but it should costs 1 less.
Doomfish - The name is silly, it should be called "Victory-Strike", why? Because the effect is overpowered, it would a disaster if it was printed during any set with prowess. Sorry for being so mean but I don't think I need to make any further judgement.
IcariiFA - The effect is good but I could see it only being used as a SB card against deck like dredge. The card is neat but not unique.
netn10 - Maybe "cast it without paying its mana cost" is better here? Not sure if that is your intention but that wouldn't affect my judgement. The flavor is ok and the effect definitely feels mythic. Not unique and I certain that your opponent is more "frustrated" than "surprised" when you use this card to shut down their aggro decks.
Legend - A boring card and obviously you can't cast this card without open mana.
Ink-treader - Not sure how to evaluate this card. The wording is wrong. This card would be strong in a meta where black dominates. This card would be better if your opponent doesn't lose 2 life.
Ah, I didn't get to edit the name of my card
I hope some people here appreciate keyword-tribal, because that's what the card is going for.
So, in general a cool card. A bit on the situative side, but mostly because you need a good creature in your grave.
Certainly something for the commander players. What troubles me is that MaRo is pretty clear on how a color isn't supposed to get access to things that the color usually doesn't get access to by combining things it does get access to on a single card.
And black isn't supposed to put a creature from the hand onto the battlefield. Not from a single card.
Um. Doesn't that counter the card by ending the turn before it can resolve? Well, I'll judge it as the card is intended.
I don't think 7 mana is enough for casting ANY card, even if it ends the turn afterwards. I mean.. just cast it during your opponents turn. Just the fact that Emrakul is a thing. Or Omniscience.
And it certainly doesn't need an upside.
You misunderstood the task in some way. You are supposed to be able to cast it without paying any mana.
Other than that the card is kinda lame. It's just a staple effect blue gets every other set with Flash. Developmentally solid I'd say.
Oh, I like caring about wether something is currently the target of a spell! Don't think you needed the 'then' there, but it's a solid card. Lovely.
You, as the player, can't block creatures. That needs to be worded differently. Anyways, judging the card as it was intended.
A very cute card. Makes a good swing an unfavorable attack out of a sudden. Or saves your own dudes. Rather versatile. I like it.
Not sure how it's a good idea to cast blue cards for white cards. But I guess white may get access to 3/3 with Flash, so it's not a big concern.
Certainly a fascinating alternative cost.

netn10: This really isn't fair. 7 mana instant speed play anything in any color at any cost? No.
Legend: Doesn't follow the rules.
Ink-Treader: This is already solid as just an instant speed sacrifice removal effect. Probably could use a cost increase to reduce the versatility. It feels overly complicated. But the flavor ties with the mechanics are strong here.
mirrodin71: This doesn't fit the challenge either.
void_nothing: Funny but fitting flavor, reasonable cost. Not game breaking. Good show overall. Perhaps just not the freshest idea is all.
TheRealStinkyJoeTerry: We took a similar approach to this challenge. It has an interesting dynamic like most traps that if your opponent knows its your decks goal, they will play around it. But you can force them to attack more or have to commit to an alpha strike. But again, this card doesn't feel that fresh. I didn't think my own entry felt fresh!
willows-This is worded very confusingly. I had to read it several times to even understand your intent. Creatures don't pay mana, players do.
doomfish-It's a good card, probably too good. Double Strike plus trample = pain. Then for free and at common.
Flatline-I like it, maybe a bit cheap
Kaieas-Perfectly black. Nice Job!
RaikouRider-Good, I know it's white's thing to exile creatures, but I feel like this was almost mono black in the way it plays. Kind of Voodoo feeling
SnowBlack1021-Free Exile when a single creature is attacking. Yikes! Feels all white and no blue.
And that is time UP, my friends, thank you to everyone who got cards or critiques in. The new round with its list of quarter-finalists will be up shortly.

Shoot! I got caught up and missed the deadline. I'll still try to post crits tomorrow. Not that they'll count at this point. Sorry.
