Your not entirely sure how you survived, and by all accounts the thing should have had no trouble chasing you into the town and finishing you off. And yet when you get within the area of the village you heard a ringing, and by the time you were at the perimeter a troop had assembled. The monstrosity chasing you backed away and you could only collapse you were so exhausted from the chase. The elders of the village wrapped you in a green and red blanket and managed to produce a mug of hot chocolate as they huddled you into a cabin. You needed a rest.

">Village Guardian: This gets the "guardian" message across clearly. I kind of wish that it gave you hexproof as long as it remained tapped, but I understand why you didn't make it work that way. Humba, the Miserable: Does this guy really need first strike and deathtouch on top of a double Night of Soul's Betrayal? Even at that high cost, I think he might be a little pushed.
The Silent Knights: This actually seems very aggressive for a creature that is meant to come across as a "guardian." It's set up to make itself unblockable and attack consistently. I'm afraid I'm not too much a fan of the present mechanic as well. It's kind of a wall of text by itself, and this card's lengthy trigger makes it worse. Ashiok, Hoarder of Gifts: Points off for using a set-specific mechanic on a planeswalker. The double-faced Garruk is the only one I can think of that does that, and I think that's because transformation is so very compelling. Are presents up to the task? Apart from that issue, I don't think this feels at all like an Ashiok and it doesn't seem blue.
Snowdown Warder: I like it. The synergy between its abilities is beautiful, and it makes sense as a kind of vigilance lord. Grinkus the Jealous: Grinkus' second ability doesn't seem black to me. Maybe it's blue? You captured the "jealous" element well.
Bell Ringers: Okay, I see where you're going with this. Selyrna, Shade Caroler: I feel like the numbers on this walker are all wonky, but it seems okay conceptually which is more important.
Icegate Sentry: This seems okay. It kind of reads like a Jeskai card due to the prowess trigger there. Velnax, Embodiment of Despair: This is interesting because it's kind of a control card that's most effective against control.
Guardian Firs: This is a fun use of sunburst. I'm not going to take points off for your reminder text slip-up; reminder text is gravy anyway. The Grimp: I think the counter-doubling on this guy made more sense in green than it does in black. The pseudo-Hexmage effect is cool though. It's very villainous.
Frostwood Honor Guard: I like this. It's nothing revolutionary or exciting, but just a nice solid design. Audarika, the Groundfeeder: Another control hoser, huh. I like this a lot.
Guard) A nice way to bring modality onto a card. The flavor text doesn't really work. The execution of the mechanic makes for a sweet card.
Villian) This is a bit too brutal for me. Should win any game in a limited environment and is a beast in constructed as well. I'm scared and upset. How fitting.
Guard) A pretty basic design that lives off your present mechanic, but doesn't even work very well with it. I imagine this would interrupt the flow of the game every time a present is opened. Not what you want to do with your new mechanic.
Villian) Would probably have been better to make a new planeswalker for this. First and third ability form a very believable and flavorful card. Second ability sort of tags along. Planeswalkers are hard, you did a formidable job.
Guard) A clean and good design. I like it.
Villian) This might need to cost just 1 mana less. This way it takes a lot of effort for little gain. It costs a lot, you need many creatures, yet your opponent has to have more, but he still needs to trample through. Lots of problems actually.
Guard) That's way too strong for an uncommon. This generates tokens at an uncontrollable rate. One every turn and one for every creature your opponent plays, oh boy.
Villian) The token generating is nice, the rest just falls off. I like the dynamic of having multiple shades.
Guard) Oh wow. Easily deals with three creatures at the same time. Looks like an interesting card for constructed, but in limited it should be a bit too frustrating.
Villian) At first it looked plain, but that one ability is great. Powerful, yet fair. I love it.
Guard) That seems fun. Looks more blue-white than green though. Sweet card.
Villian) Looks a bit hard to get going. You'll need more than just him to actually get any value out of his ability. So I'd cost it all a bit less, that's all. Another good card.
Guard) Interesting punisher mechanic actually. Making him stronger to always match the opponent's creatures is cool.
Villian) Eh. Looks like a one-upped Air Elemental to me. When someone is drawing extra cards that bit of life loss and extra power isn't going to make a big difference. Either the 5/5+ flyer gets removed or it's game.

Moss_Elemental: The guardian is fair and flavorful, but the Horror is overpowered and oppressive. It wins combat forever and makes every other creature a non threat, all while swinging for 5 with haste. No way.
Jimmy Groove: The Pun is great. That said, I still feel the present mechanics your pushing this month is closer to silver border than black. Also, Your planeswalker's ult doesn't work/make sense to me. It needs some kind of timing clause.
Ninja Caterpie: Both creatures are mechanically clean and flavorful without being too complicated. Neither one is particularly unique in the world of magic, but still, solid.
NVRBLND: Both cards again are balanced well and flavorfully make sense. Neither one does anything that new though.
Willows: Oh look, you made a bell ringer too. I'd say that it's quite the elegant card while your black mythic gets a little clunky. However, I like your zombie a lot as a fun mechanical idea that flavorfully makes sense and gets player to build decks that care about something (you'd want more -1/-1 effects.)
doomfish: I like how the two cards mirror each other, but sunburst is a weird mechanics for a snow set, and that creature feels rare. The grimp seems overcosted a tad too. Both feels very distinct though, and I like that.
GG Crono: Your guardian is fine and plays off the good ol' hero mechanic about preping/killing big threats. Your demon doesn't feel mythic, but would be a great rare.
Tis the season!

Villian) At first it looked plain, but that one ability is great. Powerful, yet fair. I love it.
Villian) Looks a bit hard to get going. You'll need more than just him to actually get any value out of his ability. So I'd cost it all a bit less, that's all. Another good card.
Villian) Eh. Looks like a one-upped Air Elemental to me. When someone is drawing extra cards that bit of life loss and extra power isn't going to make a big difference. Either the 5/5+ flyer gets removed or it's game.

Next round will be up no later than tomorrow, but it's always nice to have a full set of judgements.
Top 3:
