I'm not saying the card's fine, but since when were cards like Anurid Brushhopper and Whispers of the Muse remotely relevant power level comparisons? Jayemdae Tome would be a saner comparison, although "A 0 CMC Jayemdae Tome that also Maze of Ith's" is still not flattering.
