"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.

When the team talked about what the Eldrazi needed to be, talk turned to other games where it is common strategy to "turtle up" and build up your forces waiting, until each side has established substantial armies before any fighting begins. The team liked the idea of bringing this style of play to Magic. They dubbed this style of play "battlecruiser Magic."
It's like the first google search result!
I thought you meant "Take battlecruisers from Starcraft II, and make them into magic". You can't assume I'm competent enough to instantly know what you're talking about with an external reference like that.

I see the problem now. You need to read soulbond's CR ruling rather than it's reminder text:
702.94a. Soulbond is a keyword that represents two triggered abilities. "Soulbond" means "When this creature enters the battlefield, if you control both this creature and another creature and both are unpaired, you may pair this creature with another unpaired creature you control for as long as both remain creatures on the battlefield under your control" and "Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, if you control both that creature and this one and both are unpaired, you may pair that creature with this creature for as long as both remain creatures on the battlefield under your control."
Emphasis mine
I would suggest making another keyword that pairs creatures with opponent's creatures, call it Challenge or something.
Edit: I just decided to do it instead.
Devout Guard
Creature - Human Soldier (C)
Challenge (You may pair this creature with an unpaired creature you don't control when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as any player doesn't control both of them.)
As long as Devout Guard is paired with another creature, each of those creatures can't attack or block.

SNL: Cute but kind of niche. I wish this could suck up any kind of counter. It would probably have to cost more, though. I'm going to assume that you aren't supposed to be able to get more counters than you remove - it's flat broken any other way. Cardz5000: This is cute. Not much else to say. Atogaholic: Derivative of Eldrazi and their spawn. You may as well just have done that. iphanx: Cute enough. Hybrid mana doesn't do much here, imho. I like that you can build it up and go off in one huge swing, but I don't like how much it costs you to do it. Ninja Caterpie: I see what you did there. The card itself looks like a Scars of Mirrodin reject design. MOON-E: The cards vary between fine and busted. Consume is a cute mechanic, but here it is the epitome of win-more. avatarz: Hey it's that thing Cardz did but mostly worse. IcariiFA: I think all those triggers can be merged into one ability. I like that this punishes your opponent for doing things, but the triggers you've chosen seem arbitrary and I don't think monowhite is the right color for this. I think Retaliator Griffin does this trope better. arbysbarbys: Cute idea. Mixing time counters and +1/+1 counters is not a good idea, but I guess as long as Vanishing doesn't come back too it doesn't really matter. I think I like this! Cythare: I think this wants to be some sort of Quest enchantment. I don't know why you chose to execute counter distribution like that, but I love that you have to bait up your creatures before a kraken eats them. Winterspring: But you didn't though. Soulbond doesn't work that way. willows: Stopped reading at 1/1 Demon tokens. Try Imps! Or a Vampire and his Bats. I like the idea you're going for here, but I dislike the execution. scarbo: Some territories are unprecedented for a reason. memory issues/10 Cardz5001: Cute mechanic. Bad card. No thanks. I don't know if this can support more than a few cards. Sir Aureus: That's pretty cute! Blue's weird protection, pseudo unblockable, fragile illusion trope. Checkin' all the boxes. arbsybaurlafiuasl: Not a fan. Sorry?
