It's been a horrible week, really, with your boss double-parking in front of your car on Monday, a windstorm blowing the tree in your front yard onto your car on Tuesday, the stove catching on fire while you were trying to boil water on Wednesday, the power being shut off (supposedly just a mistake in the file, according to the power company - but they still want the $200 reconnect fee) on Thursday, and winding up with the company announcing that they're closing down entirely on Friday morning.
So you take to drinking. Around midnight on Friday, the remains of a half-dozen fifths of liquor are lying around you, and your hold on consciousness is tenuous at best. Mother Nature decides this is a perfect time to inflict one final indignity on you, though. As the earthquake directly below you opens the Earth up to swallow your house, that last bit of consciousness fades.
The next time you open your eyes, it's clearly not your house. In fact, it looks like you're standing at the edge of a cliff. A really tall cliff. You're not even sure there's a bottom to this cliff - just some sort of vague gray haze at the limit of your vision. And speaking of your vision, it's gone from "good enough to drive without glasses" to being able to pick out the tiny fissures in the rock at what looks to be a good three hundred yards. And you keep looking down, moving your view back from the cliff edge towards your lower body... except that isn't your body. At least, it's not the one you were originally born with. Between what you see directly and your shadow, you seem to have a couple of pairs of wings, a single horn, and a lower half that's made of tentacles. At least your face feels fairly close to what you remember.
You shrug - or attempt to, as best you can - and start scanning the view behind you. Either you're completely color-blind now, or everything is different shades of gray - not like it matters too much either way, since the first thing you see, beyond the boulders and plants, is the ruins of what looks like a very large city. And then you start hearing a sound that worries you: the cracking of stone.
Running towards the city, you hear blocks of stone fall from the edge of the cliff into the void below, and you see the first colorful object since you woke up. And you run faster, because whatever it is, it's nothing that's going to improve your day.
To enter: Post a creature card. It needs to be colorless (either by way of having no colored mana in its mana cost or through a color indicator [put a gray ● at the beginning of the typeline]), have the typeline Creature—Breaker, and have converted mana cost between 3 and 6.
Clarification: It's not an artifact creature, and in a minor spoiler for the next round, these creatures were bred/designed/something of that sort to get rid of the Eldrazi. And it can't make itself colored; that kind of ruins the whole "sneak up on the Eldrazi" thing.
Signups close at the end of March 31, Pacific time.

The Card Creation League is a monthly contest in which players compete over seven rounds. Each month has an overall theme and/or story, determined by that month's host.
Each round, the host will assign a card creation task to the players. This task may vary between teams or players.
The first three rounds are open to everyone who joined in the sign-up thread, which will be posted near the end of the previous month. After these rounds, the Top 8 players will move on to three single elimination rounds to determine a winner.
Rounds usually last three to four days for submissions and about two days for critiques, but the host has final say in making the schedule.
For the first three rounds, players are divided into teams. Four teams is standard, but there may be more or less depending on the number of players. Each team will review another team's cards during the critique period of that round.
Each player must submit a Top 3 ranking for the team he or she critiques at the end of each round. Each 1st place is worth 3 points, 2nd place 2 points, and 3rd place 1 point.
Additionally, each player can receive 2 bonus points per round. One point is awarded for posting a Top 3, and one point for providing critiques for that team's cards.
Suggested areas to critique include creativity, balance, printability, and relation to the overall theme or that player's previous cards.
Players who do not post a card or a Top 3 will be put on "probation." Top 3 violations for a round can be removed by posting or PMing the host with your Top 3 before the end of the next round. Any player that would receive a second violation is disqualified from further competition that month.
At the end of the first three rounds, the Top 8 players will be selected by points (usually the top 2 from each team). In the case of ties, there may be more than 8 players advancing. The host will determine matchups for single elimination. At the end of each elimination round, remaining players not in that matchup will choose a winner to advance. The host will break any ties.
The final round is determined by public poll.
Prior to Top 8, players have a chance of getting a total of 100 points toward their score each Scoring Round. Scores for each Round are determined by the following equation:
Total points of Player A in round N = 100 * X/Y, where:
X = Total number of Scoring Points (Judge Points + Additional Points from Top 3 & Critiques)
Y = Total number of Possible Points (3 * Number of Judges + Additional Points)
3 points are given for a First Place Top 3 finish, 2 points for a Second Place, and 1 point for a Third Place. 1 additional point is awarded if a Top 3 is submitted. 1 additional point is awarded if Critiques are given for all entries to be judged.
This way the grading is more streamlined in the fact that all rounds prior to Top 8 are graded equally, and there is no handicap for any team that has fewer judges.
Each player accumulates points from each Scoring Round until the end of Round 3.
Oh, maybe I will do better this month... Holder if its allowed while I think about it.
