InstaPreordain 1U
Instant(C)
Scry 2, then draw a card.
This is mainly to ask the question of their viability and current print policy acceptance.
Years ago the Ponder and Preordain were banned, unbanned and banned again from Modern for their suspected overpoweredness and the fact that they enabled combos to assemble too easily.
We've seen the ressurgance of the old substitutes like Serum Visions and Sleight of Hand as one mana draw fixes and I've tried Telling Time and Anticipate in a two mana slot - neither replaces the void left by the bannings.
So my thought is: what if we return Preordain but at instant speed and it would dig for less but keep that scry effect and element of control to it? How broken that would be if playable?

So you're proposing reprinting Opt? Not sure if that counts as Custom Card Creation...
I think Opt is a fine card, it digs slightly less efficiently than Sleight of Hand, but the Instant speed makes up for that.
