So are any of you like really into haiku and you learned all about how a haiku is traditionally supposed to have some clever allusion to the current season in it? Well here are some season-word cards.
Bugs Come Out2G
Sorcery (C)
Create two 1/1 green Insect creature tokens. Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.
Switching Clothes3G
Sorcery (C)
Remove all +1/+1 counters from target creature. Put twice that many +1/+1 counters on target creature.
First Autumn Storm4G
Instant (C)
Creatures lose flying and can't have or gain flying until end of turn.
Withered OnionsG
Instant (C)
+1/+1 counters on creatures you don't control become onion counters until end of turn.
If there are cards named Bugs Come Out, Switching Clothes, and First Autumn Storm in your graveyard, exile those cards and Withered Onions and meld them into Seven Herbs Porridge.
Seven Herbs Porridge
Artifact (meld) T: Put 3 +1/+1 counters on target creature you control.
Would be cool if the effect of Withered Onions made two permanents, in the end - Seven Herbs Porridge from, like, Switching Clothes and itself, and something else from Bugs Come Out and First Autumn Storm.

I presume the intention would be to make one humongous card out of the four parts. Giving it a tap ability is just trolling players, how do you tap that monstrosity?
I can't imagine this in a set, too many parts to assemble for too little payoff. Peer Through Depths, Reach Through Mists, and Sift Through Sands helped you to dig for each other and delivered The Unspeakable for your trouble, but nobody but me ever bothered to try to put that one together. It's a fun creativity exercise though.
If your opponent isn't playing creatures with flying, and doesn't have any creatures with +1/+1 counters, the only spell that is close to worth it is Bugs Come Out. And the payoff for playing what amounts to specious sideboard cards is fairly weak. Yeah, getting 3 +1/+1 counters per turn is nice, but it doesn't do much after a wrath, and you can get almost the same effect by playing Citadel Siege which takes a lot less effort
The idea of a 4 card meld is interesting, though, but I think you need to work on making the steps to pull it off worthwhile, and the payoff cool enough to be worth it
Bugs Come Out2G
Sorcery (C)
Create two 1/1 green Insect creature tokens. Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.
The wording on this card is bad design. By putting the +1/+1 counter event after the token creation event you create the implicit expectation that you can put the +1/+1 counter on one of the Insect tokens. But since targets have to be chosen before resolution and the tokens don't exist yet at that point in time that is not possible.
Any designer worth their salt could tell you that it would be better to exchange the two sentences.
Also I don't want bugs in my porridge. Bleh!

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
