This is a spell mechanic designed with a martial arts flavor in mind. I first designed it for a Japan set, and would also consider using it as an Ojutai mechanic. Ideally, it would allow you to recast the spell a la Cipher, but the current version is the smoothest implementation I've come up with so far. Suggestions are of course welcome.
Gale-Force StrikeW
Instant
Target creature gains first strike until end of turn.
Technique (Then you may exile this spell and teach it to a creature you control.)
As long as ~ has been taught to a creature, that creature has "W: This creature gains first strike until end of turn."
Stunning BlowW
Instant
Tap target creature.
Technique (Then you may exile this spell and teach it to a creature you control.)
As long as ~ has been taught to a creature, that creature has "W, T: Tap target creature."
Graceful LeapU
Instant
Target creature gains flying until end of turn.
Technique (Then you may exile this spell and teach it to a creature you control.)
As long as ~ has been taught to a creature, that creature has "U: This creature gains flying until end of turn."
Focused Sight1U
Instant
Scry 1, then draw a card.
Technique (Then you may exile this spell and teach it to a creature you control.)
As long as ~ has been taught to a creature, that creature has "1U, T: Scry 1, then draw a card."

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Technique is only used on instants and in theory sorceries.
Technique is more consistent than Haunt, which worked different on different card types.
Technique does not trigger when the affected creature dies. Instead, it grants an ability to the creature.
But I concur that Haunt should probably have worked more like a reverse Bestow, where the haunted creature is given some kind of permanent effect either positive or negative. Haunt also should have been put only on creatures for both flavor and consistency's sake.

Yes, but this ability and the spell version of haunt are literally the exact same thing.
Technique does not trigger when the affected creature dies. Instead, it grants an ability to the creature.
That's more about how haunt was used in Guildpact than anything about the mechanic itself. You could take any of your above cards, change "technique" to "haunt" and "taught" to "haunted", and it would still work perfectly fine.
But I concur that Haunt should probably have worked more like a reverse Bestow, where the haunted creature is given some kind of permanent effect either positive or negative. Haunt also should have been put only on creatures for both flavor and consistency's sake.
100% agree here. Haunt was actually originally in Dragon's Dawn used in precisely that way, and though I ended up cutting it, I do intend to use it just like that for another set.
I've seen it before but it's still cool. Try the custom keyword encyclopedia sticky at top and you might find a few other people that posted this and see if they have any more feedback.
The problem with extending haunt to Aura-like effects has always been the lack of a simple "you may" to prevent you from having to put beneficial haunt-Auras on an enemy creature or negative haunt-Auras on a friendly creature.
I've hit upon a new version that does a better job of capturing my original intent:
Graceful Leap2U
Instant
Target creature you control gains flying until end of turn. Untap it.
Technique (Then you may exile this spell and teach it to that creature. That creature gains "You may cast copies of cards taught to this creature. Those copies target this creature.")
This does impose one constraint: The spell must always be an effect that targets a creature you control. You can still access a wide variety of affects through creative use of ability granting effects.
Icy Meditation1U
Instant
Until end of turn, target creature you control gains "T: Draw a card, then discard a card."
Technique (Then you may exile this spell and teach it to that creature. That creature gains "You may cast copies of cards taught to this creature. Those copies target this creature.")

That said, I've always felt that haunt should have been more like this than what it ended up as.
