This is my first post on MTGS but I've done alot of lurking beforehand.
Velsir is my custom/fan planeswalker in the vein of the Magic Origins flipwalkers.
His homeplane is Innistrad and he is a silversmith making weapons and armor for the Lunarchs and Inquisitors.
He isn't much a fighter until the angels go mad in the SOI story and force him to wield a blade of his own making in self-defense.
Inquisition Saber -
Artifact – Equipment (U)
Equip Creature
Equipped creature gets +1/+1 and first strike.
When equipped creature transforms into a planeswalker, unequip Inquisition Saber then transform it.
Equip cost “The Lunarchs need not worry. They'll only get the finest silverworks from me.” - Belthier
[Flip] Soulbound Aetherblade
Artifact
When Soulbound Aetherblade transforms, increase target planeswalker's loyalty by one.
, : Target creature looses indestructible and flying until end of turn.
, :Exile target Vampire, Werewolf, Zombie, or Demon. “The blessing fell from the sword and something truly cosmic took it's place.” - Velsir
Belthier, Silversmith -
Legendary Creature – Human Artificer (M)
: Search your library for an artifact, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library.
Whenever Belthier, Silversmith becomes equipped, exile him, then return him to the battlefield transformed under his owners controller then transform that Equipment.

[Flip] Velsir, the Silver-lined - (Black)
Planeswalker – Velsir (M)
+1: You may sacrifice an artifact or enchantment. If you do, target opponent looses 4 life.
0: Target player draws a card then reveals his or her hand. If an Artifact is revealed this way, you gain 3 life.
-5: You get an emblem with “Pay one life: Counter target spell and investigate.”
[3]
The betrayal of the angels, the insanity of the plane, and the new power from becoming a planeswalker makes Velsir selfish, opportunistic, and vengeful. However this mentality eventually dissipates and the next card is symbolic of the return to his senses.
Velsir, Shining Blade -
Planeswalker – Velsir (M)
+1: Put a 2/2 Artifact Creature Gargoyle token with flying and hexproof onto the battlefield.
-2: Until your next turn, creatures that attack you or planeswalkers you control are returned to the top of their owners library at the end of combat.
-8: You get an emblem with “On each upkeep target creature an opponent controls gets -X/-X until end of turn where X is the number of instants and sorceries in all graveyards.”

Hello. All your story and flavor elements seem great (although Soulbond Aetherblade definitely needs to be able to target angels.) The cards could use a bit of balancing, though.
The equipment is not good enough: those stats for those costs on the front side are super unexciting, and the only way to flip it is to play one of only a handful of mythic creatures. Even if you do flip it, it's only marginal, as two of the three abilities are very conditional. I would amp up the front side a little bit, so it's playable in limited, and the back side just a little bit so that it's a star of the kitchen table.
The Flip-Walker is broken. A repeatable Fabricate is just too good at that cost. It would have to cost at least four, and even then, I'd add a U to the ability. The planeswalker side is cool and fun, but it's not the reason anyone would play this card. That ultimate is truly terrifying.
Velsir, Shining Blade has the best design of the three, but I do think the gargoyle is a bit too good on a four drop walker, and the ultimate is a little off color pie.
I like the cards. The flavor and style are spot on. You'd probably enjoy building a custom set.
Thanks for your input, sorry I didn't see this sooner.
For the Aetherblade I debated having 'Angel' on the second mode but it seemed like too many creature types; also the first ability is kinda angel-hate by itself. Ya, I see how the Belthier side could be too much. Though, it is supposed to be on the better side... What do you think of 3 cmc and for the ability?
Lol 'terrifying' is that a good thing or bad? Looking at the ult again, it should probably be minus 6 or 7 and 2 life instead of one.
Also I was thinking about swapping the first two abilities on Shining Blade. As it is, the enemy could just wait him out, build their board, and Veslir kills himself in two turns. rip.
I would like to point out that there's no existing card that triggers the transform ability on Inquisition Saber, and that your planeswalker design doesn't trigger it either. All of the flip-walkers exile themselves and return to the battlefield transformed, rather than transforming directly.
Just made this version of Velsir for a game on the forum.
Turned out pretty cool I think, it shows the end of Velsir's journey when he looses his spark.
Velsir, Lustrous Aethermage 4WUB
-3: Put target creature or planeswalker on the bottom of it’s owners library. Draw a card.
0: Tap up to X target permanents where X is the number cards in your hand. They don’t untap during their controller’s next untap step.
-X: Put up to X nonland permanents on the top of their owners library in any order. Transform Velsir, Lustrous Ascendant

Artifacts you control loose indestructible and cannot gain indestructible.
Artifact and sorcery spells you control cost 1 less to cast.
At the beginning of each end step if you control at least three artifacts, draw a card. “Mirrodin, Theros, Zendikar... I’m sure they still exist. Yet, I may never see them again.”
