The M15 templates in MSE have quite a few issues, for example the rules text extending into the P/T box or the erratic line breaks. Most of the times, these can be fixed with some trial and error, but not always. I wanted to see if I could fix them by editing the templates. My understanding of the programming doesn't suffice to fix the core of these issues, but I was able to make simple modifications that facilitate dealing with them. I have used these templates while working on my set and they proved to be very helpful, so I wanted to share them here. Minor things, but if you, like me, want to compare MSE with a Microsoft product sometimes, you should find these helpful.
Improved M15 Template This is my modified M15 template. I simply added the option to change the size of the text box. If the text extends into the P/T box, you simply chop off the text box at the bottom. You can also vary the size of the text box to control line breaks. Here is an example.
How to use it: Extract the folder into "\{MSE folder}\data\". The template should now show up under Style. In the Styling Options, select "Options specific to this card", then reposition the text box with "Chop top" and "Chop bottom" (integer numbers from 0 - ~15).
Improved M15 Leveler Template This is an improved M15 Leveler template. What the program should do is enforce the same font size for both leveler boxes, see Kargan Dragonlord. For some reason, it doesn't do that, which makes cards with different text amounts in the two boxes look very weird. This modification adds the option to limit the font size for both leveler boxes. Here is an example.
How to use it: Same as above. Use "Level fontsize" to set the font size for both leveler boxes. The standard was 14 in the old template, but I changed it to 12.
Do you think you can integrate those changes to the M15 Extra style?
It has the same structure, so I could just copy/paste the changes. Here. Tell me if it leads to problems with the extra features (I've never used this template).
I'm note sure if it's me overlooking something, but your template does seem to interfere with automatic land color detection when land types rather than mana color are mentioned on the card.
Land types aren't used for land color detection, but the mana symbol watermarks. There seems to be a bug with the M15 Extra template, that it doesn't detect the watermark to set the land color, but instead uses the "hidden" watermark that was set in the normal M15 template (some card characteristics are still saved when you change the template even if the characteristic is no longer relevant. For example, if you make a planeswalker, then change the template to the normal M15 template, the card will still remember its loyalty). See if this only happens for my template or for the standard M15 Extra template as well.

How exactly do I do this? Where can I find those editing options your identifying?

While people are sharing corrected MSE files here, I figure I should share mine. I've incorporated the first change made in this thread to these files, as well as color-corrected text, borders, and rarity symbols. I've also added an optional mythic rare outline. I'll also be posting on the MSE forums somewhere to see if it can be incorporated to the main builds. Download here and install the same way.
My color corrections should affect all templates, but my mythic outline will only affect the m15 template.
Edit: Uploaded a few examples of the color corrections and an example of the mythic outline.

If you have my template selected, the new options should appear under Style -> Styling Options. Make sure that you have my template set for the card. It doesn't look different than the normal M15 one.

That was exactly what happened, lol. I kept choosing the original one still thinking yours was an overwrite. I found what you meant now. Such a difference! Thank you so much!
On a side note, do you know if anyone did the New M15 template for planeswalkers? The new M15 template has pink and purple colors for cards and it would be awesome to incorporate that into flips, levelers, planeswalkers, miracles, etc. into, specifically, M15 Extra - M15 with extra features (which is the one you improved).

Styles starting with "magic-new*" are the 8ed card frames. Styles starting with "magic-m15*" are the M15 card frames. By "New M15" do you mean "magic-m15-extra"? On the MSE forums Additional Downloads board there is a thread named Update to my M15-Planeswalker-Extra Templates. I haven't used it myself, but that sounds like it is what you want for planeswalkers. I don't think anyone has made an "*-extra" style for flips, levelers, or miracles.
That was exactly to what I was referring to! Thanks a lot! Yeah, an M15 card frame for flips and miracles was done but not with the extra colors as the M15 extra. But at least the planeswalker border was done, which is great.
