Most of these are excellent use of hexproof, i think we will be seeing a lot more exploration of this space in the future by WOTC.
I cringe any time I see designers calling for the death of hexproof and the return of shroud. As the mechanic is superior in terms of comprehension and gameplay but it just needs careful implementation. Thus why I love cards like Sacred Wolf and Benthic Giant while disliking Gladecover scout or Invisible Stalker.
Thanks! And yeah, I agree. Hexproof helps push the game more towards combat and interaction on the level of the battlefield - so it, theoretically, should be a fun mechanic. The problem is when the cards are just too tough to interact with on the level of the battlefield - fliers, big guys, etc. So I tried to address that in some of these designs. In others, I just focused on making the hexproof have tangible downsides or interesting circumstances.

tenangrychickens: I wanted to avoid "losing hexproof" as I didn't want these to feel like downsides. I don't know why it needs that wording change, we've seen "has hexproof unless" before, haven't we? Am I missing something?
Yeah, I didn't try too hard on that guy's name. I like Deranged Stalker a lot.

Aw, I'm sad to hear that about Mistfire Expert. I guess it was more of a misfire. Really though, I actually loved the idea of it - an aggressive creature that had its 'shields down' until it got oriented. I liked the mechanical feel of "haste then hexproof", and the gameplay feel of "vulnerable then protected". I know the wording is clunky, but I truly think the idea behind it is cool - "Kill me now or you may lose your chance!"
Giving it Haste also makes it a more interesting decision for the player, since they're super incentivized to attack and not wait for its shields to go up. They don't HAVE to, but they WANT to. If it didn't have haste, there would be no decision at all, so you wouldn't have that interesting gameplay.
I avoided triggered abilities because you have to vocally confirm them, and I don't want newbies to miss their triggers. In addition, it helps with MTGO.
Thanks for the kind words!

The rules on missed triggers changed a couple years ago. You don't have to announce a trigger that doesn't make a visible change to the game state and doesn't have any choices until it's relevant. If you cast an instant or sorcery, then later in the turn they try to target your Meditant, you have to stop them and say "You can't do that, it has shroud". If you don't, THEN you're considered to have missed the trigger. If you don't catch it by then, you've played wrong whether it's a trigger or not.
At least for the Meditant, I agree with the Squirle master, if for no other reason than it also has prowess. One being a triggered ability and one being a static ability has a weird disconnect between the timing of the two abilities. You can respond to one but not the other, even though they're caused by the same thing.
I'm not a rules-y guy, so I didn't know it changed. Thanks!
And yeah, you're right, they don't sync up that well. I can definitely fix that.
Thank you both!

The Squirle Master: No, no, going elsewhere is fine. Never stop a train of thought just because it's tangential - that's where the best ideas are so often found! (:
I wanted the tension to be a bit more implicit - something that players discover through play - but your idea is also a fun one. I'd love to see that on a RW card someday!
I was actually JUST thinking of the topic of "gaining hexproof permanently" this morning, haha! My wording I thought of was "At the beginning of your upkeep, Mistfire Expert gains hexproof. (This effect lasts indefinitely.)" The problem is, I think that would grant multiple instances of hexproof? Not an actual issue except on MTGO.
