The next morph evolution is going to be... double faced cards!
Maze Warrior3R
Creature - Minotaur Warrior (C)
Emerge 2R (Transform this creature from its Hidden Warrior side for 2R any time.)
4/2
-- Hidden Warrior1R
Creature - Warrior (?)
Hidden (Keep the other side of this card secret for as long as you control it. Look at it anytime.)
2/1
Normally, double faced cards have a side you can't cast (not only because it has no mana cost.) And if you can see a side, you can see both sides.
The Hidden mechanic overrides both these rules (being able to cast either side is not explicitly stated in the card, but the mana cost makes it implicit, and you'll read about it in the rules annex.) So if you cast a spell with hidden, you keep the other side as hidden information, until you need to prove it's the right DFC (just like morph.)
By the way, the (?) set symbol is important... or else you wouldn't be able to make new hidden warriors cards in future sets!
So how would a Hidden Warrior work in practice? Just like a Double Faced Card:
-- You are playing without sleeves (or non-opaque sleeves) --
Placeholder cards make a return. You mark 'Maze Fighter' on a placeholder card, and use that placeholder in your deck.
- When you cast it as Maze Fighter, present the Maze Fighter card and keep it above the placeholder card for as long as you need.
- When you cast it as Hidden Warrior, cast the placeholder card face-down* by presenting the corresponding [Maze Fighter / Hidden Warrior] card on its Hidden Warrior side.
--Alternatively, if you keep the corresponding Maze Fighter card in a sleeve you don't want to unsleeve, just use a 'Hidden Warrior' reminder card for as long as you need instead.
-- You are playing with sleeves -- (or playing with non-opaque sleeves)
- Include this card in your deck with the Maze Fighter side up. If you cast it on its hidden side:
-Cast it as Hidden Warrior by removing the sleeve.
-If you don't want to unsleeve, cast it face-down* and put a 'Hidden Warrior' reminder card above it.
*: (Face-down here is not the rules term. This is still a double faced card on its transformed side.)
By the way, the cycle would be 'Hidden Warrior', 'Hidden Wizard' (1U 1/3), 'Hidden Beast' (2G 3/2), 'Hidden Horror' (2B 2/3) and 'Hidden Protector' (W 1/2) cards. Each would have their own set of restrictions (ie: warriors can't have toughness more than 3. Protectors can't be more than 3 mana to change. Horrors are 5 mana or more to change. Wizards can't have more than 2 power.)
But that is just the morph way. Let's do 'secrets':
Scorpion Form2B
Creature - Scorpion (U)
Deathtouch
Supplant B (Exile this card from its Enhance side for B any time. Attach it to enchanted creature. It's a copy of this card.)
1/3
-- Enhance2
Enchantment - Aura (?)
Enchant creature you control.
When you cast Enhance, draw a card.
Hidden (Keep the other side of this card secret for as long as you control it. Look at it anytime.)
Proboscis Stinger2B
Instant (C)
Target creature gains deathtouch until end of turn.
Setup 1B (Cast this card from its Enhance side for 1B targeting enchanted creature.)
-- Enhance2
Enchantment - Aura (?)
Enchant creature you control.
When you cast Enhance, draw a card.
Hidden (Keep the other side of this card secret for as long as you control it. Look at it anytime.)
Retractive Blade4
Artifact - Equipment (U)
Equipped creature has +2/+2
Equip 4
Concealed 4 (Transform this from its Enhance side for 4 any time.)
-- Enhance2
Enchantment - Aura (?)
Enchant creature you control.
When you cast Enhance, draw a card.
Hidden (Keep the other side of this card secret for as long as you control it. Look at it anytime.)
Of these, I like "set up" the most. It's clever and uses the mechanic to achieve modality in an interesting way.

First question: once everyone knows these exist, doesn't it kinda make the hidden info aspect moot?
Second question: so for the next evolution...split-card double-faced creatures with morph! a five-faced card?!?
I think the idea is that there are a subset of cards that all have Hidden Warrior as their front face. So even if you know they exist, you still aren't sure which of the five cards with Hidden Warrior your opponent played. There are definitely still some holes in the idea, but it's fun to think about. I think the idea might be best served in a different game altogether than as part of magic.

Eh, the cards are okay, but the basic idea has been around since the day DFC's were spoiled (if not before). I'm a little surprised you weren't aware.
