I really like both mixes. Essence is a really awesome mechanic for decks that want to utilize Auras, and it solves the problem with Auars: It makes them less "All Eggs in One Basket" and gives them some recurrence. I really enjoy Soul Release and Thrash Squad. Both seem really radical in the correct decks.
