Hello MTGS! I posted a similar video several months ago, and at the time the template was not updated, and the instructions were fairly convoluted. I've re-done the video and hopefully the instructions are much more clear. Hopefully this helps people begin to start playtesting sets on cockatrice!
Since we can't embed video links here, I'm just going to shamelessly link to the blog post I put up on the topic. You can find that post, with the video embedded, below:
Although the process is more complex, the quick and dirty is:
1) Install the Cockatrice Exporter
2) Run the Cockatrice Exporter, save cards.xml to your Cockatrice Appdata location
3) Export all card images to a folder with your set abbreviate in the downloadedPics folder.
4) Manually edit all apostrophes and commas into the file names of the images.
5) Playtest!
Excellent guide, I'd make the link a bit more obvious and centered.
I'll currently working on a written step by step guide that follows the same steps but also with instructions on how to setup playtests and share your custom sets with friends.
This is really awesome! So, I think we should hold a Custom Card Creation poll to vote on sets to playtest as a group! I think it would be a really fun idea and a bunch of us could participate. However, I don't know if anyone has any finished sets, and if they have digital card images for them. Anyhow, can we do this please?

I would love to do this. In fact, I have a suggestion for it:
Post up a thread (or I'll post it up if you'd like) asking for people to submit 'finished' custom sets for consideration. After a little bit of time is giving for people to submit, have people vote on it and whichever set wins we'll set up a time for playtesting. I'd be happy to create an executable installer for the selected set to make it more accessible to everyone.
