Abzan Infantry is too strong. That one cost for Outlast is ridiculous on a 1 CMC 1/2.
Abzan Nighthawk: As a player of black, i really liked Nighthawk. However, as a card designer, i hate it. It breaks so many of black's color pie standards and has set an unhealthy precedence for toughness-heavy black creatures. There is no reason this should be a 1/2 over 1/1.
Dunewatch Patrol: Why isn't this white if you have the ability give Vigilance?
Ancestral Rites: Gods, that's an expensive ability. There should probably be 3 choices, one of each color.

Artifact - Equipment (R)
Choose one - Equipped creature gets +4/+0; or Double Strike; or "When this creature deals combat damage to a creature, exile that creature"; or t, unattach ~ from this creature: ~ deals 5 damage to target creature." t: Equipped creature gains flying until end of turn.

Recently toughness higher than power has become part of Blacks slice of the pie. I see nothing wrong with the Nighthawk.
Similarly Vigilance is part of Greens color pie. Nothing wrong there either.
Your uncommons are exactly the type of thing I'd expect to see, but just didn't have space. (In case you didn't know, the clan mechanic cards in KTK followed a very specific pattern: Each clan got twocommons and twouncommons in their main color, plus onecommon and oneuncommon in each of their secondary colors.)
Ancestral Champion is great. Ancestral Rites should probably have a 3 activation for both cleanliness and a slight power boost. Also the spirit probably wants to fly? Personally, I would make these two seperate abilities (which is how most of these types of cards are formatted, rather than the awkward "choose one")

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Is Abzan infantry really broken? I didn't think it would be that scary. You'd spend your second turn making a 2/3 and then before you can make it a 3/4 your opponents can easily kill it. I figured it's good but not broken...
Thanks for the feedback on the rest! I'll do some edits. A lot of them do seem a little variant-like from pre existing cards, but I think that's normal.
If you're looking for brand new space, try doing something that isn't "+1/+1 counter Tribal". For instance, maybe outlast creatures that get an ability when they have N counters, or ones that remove counters for effects. These wouldn't fit well into the real KTK set, but they would be interesting space to explore should we ever return.
Chronomaton says Abzan Infantry is above the curve for sure, and since that card was pretty good and uncommon it should give you an indication of where the Infantry stands. It would be a powerful uncommon but most likely too good at common.

Chronomaton is colourless and can be activated at any time.
Abzan Infantry is white and can only be activated at sorcery speed. As a trade-off, you get 1 toughness. Not shabby, but I'd say it's weaker than the Chronomaton overall.
Still, might want to upgrade it to uncommon.
In my opinion the lack of a vigilance lord for Abzan was a deliberate design choice that shouldn't be taken likely. Consider that what makes the outlast mechanic fun is that you have to have a choice between attacking, blocking OR outlasting. However with vigilance this opens up the ability to attack AND outlast.
Notice that only two cards do a similar effect in KTK. Ivorytusk Fortress is a rare, while Brave the Sands is a card that would be terrible in most sets (and is still fairly terrible even in KTK.)
@DaHammer: Black having high toughness is a recent development since Return to Ravinca block to help differentiate it from black. See cards like Rotted Mastadon and Sidisi's Pet. The Nighthawk is a powerful common, would be a lot safer with an outlast of 1B while maintaining its ability to slowly break a board stall which is an important trait to have at common on occasion.
I think I disagree about Vigilance being anti Abzan. If anything I think it's super Abzan because it promotes them to outlast and attack without sacrificing one or the other. I can up the costs of the outlast abilities on the commons though. It would be a good fix. I'll work on a new Ancestral Rites.

The whole point of Outlast is that you have to sacrifice attack with a creature to be able to grow it... So I'm sure that Vigilance + Outlast on one card is something that shouldn't ever happen.
I really do not think so. If that were the case, Ivorytusk Fortress would not have been made, nor would Brave the Sands. I agree in saying a card with Outlast that grants vigilance seems a bit strong, but at the same time I do not think it's against their ideology.
