EDIT: Renamed Two-Headed Bulvox to Two-Headed Thragg.
I like Jamuraan Paladin. Might need some testing because of how unfair it makes mirror matches, though.
Pit Prisoner feels... bad. Compare Grinning Demon. That's three less CMC, lacks only -1/-1, flying, and trample, and has the flexibility of morph... and also only ever hits you for the minimum amount that Pit Prisoner does. Your guy could cost significantly less, like 2 less.
Two-Headed Bulvox is fine on its own but having its spectrum ability literally be the same as one of the red commons' is odd unless it's a straight-up vertical cycle in red.
The Spectrum cards across rarities are great, I think it's an excellently positioned mechanic for the set. Wordings like Pit Prisoner's "X is 7 minus [quality]" always takes me a minute to understand. If you want an easier to read (but less flavorful) version, you could use something like "At the beginning of your upkeep, gain life equal to the number of colors among permanents you control, then ~ deals 7 damage to you."
The Bulvok is a fine card in isolation, but its Spectrum power is the same as the Red common, so it seems less exciting to me. Here's my take on a Red Spectrum Rare:
Iridescent Elemental3R
Creature - Elemental [R] Spectrum - Whenever ~ attacks, put a 1/1 Red Elemental creature tokens onto the battlefield tapped and attacking for each color among permanents you control. Sacrifice the tokens at end of turn.
3/3

It's not a vertical cycle (the uncommon is different,) but it's an ability I'm going to use exactly as-worded in Icefall, as well.
There are one or two other spectrum applications that I like well enough where you might see me double-up on it, even just within the Dominaria set. So, it isn't going to be the one sore thumb sticking out of an otherwise perfectly diverse field.
Pit Prisoner is not very good. I know not every rare has to be an all star, but I thibk they should also be somewhat playable. I think it would be much more playable if it were like a 4/4 for 4, and then it deals X damage to you, where X is equal to 5 minus the number of colors you control. So it will be dealing 4 damage to you in a mono black deck (which seems fair because it will have 4 power) and if you're playing other colors it becomes a little better. It would be like a worse desecration demon then, but still playable, at least. As it stands right now, casual players likely won't want to play it.

Pit Prisoner, in particular, doesn't have to be great. It's true. The meta does not hinge on it.
But I have given it a very intentional mana cost + P/T ratio + suite of abilities.
Assuming this still needs to be a 7/7 for 6B with flying, trample, and a predisposition to do something bad to you for 7 minus X, is there a way you might improve it?
I know, weird constraints, but trust me on this one.
How about "lose X life and draw X cards, where X is your spectrum"?
I'm in favor of this or the multiplayer life loss
There's (probably) already a draw + lose life spectrum card in the set or block that isn't this card.
I also very specifically want this to use the "minus" templating.
EDIT: Here's my new proposed version. I don't think you can call him a slouch.
Pit Prisoner6B

It's a perfectly good suggestion, but I think I'm excited about Am Shegar's suggestion because it's mechanically pretty straightforward, and I can't say that about every spectrum card.
When I post the rest of the spectrum commons / uncommons, you'll also see another reason why I might like this new version better.
Question: the trample does seem rather, err... slathering it on thick, now, doesn't it? Keep it? Can it?
Question, the second: "target opponent" vs. "each opponent"... obviously the latter is stronger than the former. But I think there's a certain elegance in always dividing up a share of exactly 7 damage. And again, this does NOT have to be a meta-defining Constructed card. Limited bomb, kitchen-table playable, yes.
My issue with Two-Headed Bulvox is not that it exactly rehashes a common spectrum ability (though, between the two spectrum dudes and the WBR common, exactly how many red first strikers with lopsided power and toughness does a set need?) but because it's just a bad card.
Sure, in the best-case scenario, the guy is a champ. But in the worst-case scenario where your spectrum is only 1-2? Jamuraan Paladin is a solid body that can be unblockable, infinitely wall, or blow up all your opponent's creatures in the right matchup. Phantasmal Front is a 4 power beater that draws you a card every time it attacks. New Pit Prisoner can easily kill an opponent in two turns, and even Old Pit Prisoner was a giant evasive dude that didn't depend on synergy to be a Limited bomb. Bloom Tender goes from slightly underwhelming at S=1 to utterly absurd at S=2.
Bulvox...is noticeably below the curve at S=1 and still barely better than Ogre Resister at S=2. It isn't until S=3 that it starts to get good, and if you're playing 3 colors, why are you including this card in your deck instead of cards that are giant beaters without a ton of setup involved?
Maybe if its spectrum counted double the number of colors, and it had haste instead of trample, or something.
Some rares will be pretty weak, and some spectrum cards will scale more steeply with spectrum. The Bulvox is good as is as a payoff for higher spectrum counts in limited/casual.
Also, old Pit Prisoner was probably not limited playable.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.

In regards to both of your comments, I feel like this is exactly the kind of card evaluation I want Two-Headed Bulvox to provoke.
I agree that there's a natural "meh" at low spectrum counts, whereas Jamuraan Paladin has the potential to come out of the gates at 100% in a monowhite mirror match. But more than just about any other spectrum card I have offered up so far, I think there's a little bit of starry-eyed math you can do with the Bulvox where you really start to wonder... maybe I really should try for that max spectrum count. 12 points of trample damage for 3R might give a few people pause. Could I realistically get six colors out by turn four? Is that possibility enough to warrant some nutty spectrum aggro build? All questions that I would love, love, love players to be asking themselves.
(I still think it's a bad card, especially in Limited where ability to be aggro is inversely proportional to the number of colors your deck contains - see the failure of DGR - and an uninteresting design compared to stuff like Latros and Eldritch Warfare, which I'm not the target audience for but can at least appreciate as doing something novel and potentially game-changing. But if this card is explicitly targeted at Magicalchristmasland-dwelling Timmy/Johnnies, I suppose me disliking it serves to prove the point.)
The Geoglyph cycle is still penciled-in for the set. Once you add blue hurricanes and beebles, I'm hoping you can hit high spectrum counts without really even adding a second color to your mana base.
If the geoglyphs see constructed play it won't bode well for multicolored decks. Only the mana goblin and maybe the spikeflitter are playable from the DOM hurricanes, and none of the (currently revealed) beebles are constructed playable.
Hybrid is a cheap way to increase spectrum counts, any chance it shows up in one of the third sets?
