As usual I am designing a bunch of commons for what I'm now calling Dreamscape of Noctus.
Would love feedback on each of them.
My comments/questions in BLUE
Priest of DaymasW
Creature — Human Cleric (C)
Lifelink (Damage dealt by this creature also causes you to gain that much life.)
Dreamwalk (This creature can’t be blocked except by tapped creatures.) “Fear not the night, instead hope in peaceful slumber.”
1/1
Vital RestW
Instant (C)
Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature and tap it.
Is this being a trick against Dreamwalk obvious?
Scapehunting4W
Instant (C)
Put three 1/1 white Hound creature tokens with lifelink onto the battlefield.
Is this costed correctly?
Mindblitz1U
Instant (C)
Counter target spell unless its controller pays 1 for each card in his or her graveyard.
Is this too good for a common splashable counterspell?
Battlebloom Elf1G
Creature — Elf (C)
When Battlebloom Elf deals combat damage to a player, add G to your mana pool at the beginning of your next main phase.
2/1
Is this too complex for a common?
It fits perfectly because I don't want any tap abilities at common due to board complexity with dreamwalk. However I still want the common green mana elf.
Aether Predator2G
Creature — Beast (C) 1U, Sacrifice Aether Predator: Return target creature to its owner’s hand.
3/2
Would this push you into G/U in a draft?
Blinding FinesseR
Enchantment - Aura (C)
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature gets +2/+1. W: Enchanted creature gains first strike until end of turn.
Does the power of this make you want to play R/W auras if it was a supported archetpye?
One more I'd love some feedback on Mindflash Magnus1U
Creature - Human Wizard (C)
R, Sacrifice Mindflash Magnus: Exile the top two cards of your library. Until end of turn you may play cards exiled this way.

Priest of DaymasW

Dreamwalk (This creature can’t be blocked except by tapped creatures.) “Fear not the night, instead hope in peaceful slumber.”

Fine.
Vital RestW
Instant (C)
Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature and tap it.
Is this being a trick against Dreamwalk obvious?
I think so, but it will definitely catch some people off guard in the first few weeks.
Scapehunting4W
Instant (C)
Put three 1/1 white Hound creature tokens with lifelink onto the battlefield.
Is this costed correctly?
I think 5cmc is correct but I'd prefer 3WW.
Mindblitz1U
Instant (C)
Counter target spell unless its controller pays 1 for each card in his or her graveyard.
Is this too good for a common splashable counterspell?
I don't... think so? It seems worse than Mana Leak overall.
Too complex as a one of, probably okay as a very minor theme (~5 cards maybe).
Depends more on the available removal than aura synergies, hard to say right now.
One more I'd love some feedback on Mindflash Magnus1U
Creature - Human Wizard (C)
R, Sacrifice Mindflash Magnus: Exile the top two cards of your library. Until end of turn you may play cards exiled this way.
1/3
I really like this guy, although if you want to push people into UR I think it could also use the "control a mountain:+1/+1" clause.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
Vital Rest - I really like this card... But I'm not a huge fan of it's appearance in the same set, where Dreamwalk appears for the first time... Dreamwalk already creates pretty complex board and there is no need to make it even more complex.
Wouldn't you compare this to cards that untapped in Born of the Gods like Crypsis or cards like Renounce the Guilds in Dragon's Maze.
This card like the others are actually not that great power level but are made interesting by the environment they belong in.
Or do you think that this can work like a Savage Surge on dreamwalk creatures is going to be too complex?
The flavor of the name (and possible flavor texts) helps clue it in, so I feel it's obvious enough.
Scapehunting
3WW seems right. So much lifelink doesn't feel like it should be splashy.
Mindblitz
Tough call. But I think by the time this outpaces mana leak and becomes really powerful you're probably already winning in control. You can keep it aggressive, but expect it to be constructed worthy. 2U is safer, but makes it unplayable.
Battlebloom Elf
Doesn't feel like a common, no. Beginning of phase triggers complicate things, especially since the next main phase would be the post combat main phase. Not as new player friendly.
Aether Predator
No, I wouldn't feel tempted to go G/U for this card. A 3 power beater for 3 is good enough in draft. The sacrifice effect, while a nice bonus, is just that. Not enough to be a bomb or deciding factor. Still a strong common though.
Blinding Finesse
Seems on pair with one costing auras these days. With support, might be runnable. Depends on what kind of support.
Mindflash Magnus
Awesome card, doesn't feel like a common though. I would up the activated ability to 1R.
