These are similarly modeled after Eldrazi Spawn... I guess that's probably obvious. I haven't playtested the tokens yet, but do they seem compelling as an un-keyworded Orzhov-ish mechanic?
Escaped PrisonerW
Creature - Human (C)
When Escaped Prisoner dies, put a 0/1 white and black Thrull creature token onto the battlefield. It has "Sacrifice this creature: Each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life."

When Dread Crone enters the battlefield, put two 0/1 white and black Thrull creature tokens onto the battlefield. They have "Sacrifice this creature: Each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life."

It surely works imo, specially with other synergistic cards, such as sacrifice outlets and death triggers.
Imo this would make a interesting Orzhov faction, probably more then extort.
Agreed, this is way cooler than Extort. I started wondering, how do average peons of the Orzhov have the magical ability to tax life away for the church? Thrulls make MUCH more sense than that.
I think you can get more design space, too - how about something like this?
Orzhov Spelltithe GuyWW
Creature - Human Cleric (U)
At the beginning of the end step, if your opponents cast more than one spell this turn, put a 0/1 white and black Thrull creature token onto the battlefield. It has "Sacrifice this creature: Each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life."

I like that a lot. My general plan for the monocolored Thrull-makers is to have white cards produce Thrulls when something "bad" happens and the black cards produce them when something "good" happens. That trigger definitely fits white, both in color pie and in the aforementioned plan. Glad it's getting a good reception!

If you control fewer creatures or have less life than an opponent, put three 0/1 white and black Thrull creature tokens onto the battlefield. They have "Sacrifice this creature: Each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life."

Put X 0/1 white and black Thrull creature tokens onto the battlefield. They have "Sacrifice this creature: Each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life."
These are pretty satisfying cards so far, definitely. The cost and rarity feel about right, the tokens feel like they'd be surprisingly decent blockers against anything but stompy mctramples.
White trigger ideas: Whenever an opponent attacks you with two or more creatures; whenever a nontoken creature you control dies (Pawn of Ulamog is one of my favorite cards and is full of unexploited combo material - this effect is more black though); whenever an opponent draws/casts a spell during your turn?
Black trigger ideas: Permanent (demon OR enchantment?) that puts out a token at your upkeep and makes you sac a creature each turn, e.g. Eldrazi Monument; whenever an opponent discards or whenever a creature they control dies (would need to be on a high cost and rarity obviously)
While I like this mechanic quite a lot, I feel like it lacks slightly in design space. How about looking at Thrulls from a slightly different (and a lot more powerful) angle:
Dread Crone 3BB
Creature - Thrull Giant (C)
When Dread Crone enters the battlefield, put two 0/1 white and black Thrull creature tokens onto the battlefield.
Sacrifice another Thrull: Each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.
4/2
Now this gives you a lot more room for innovation, because you can justify just about any effect with "sacrifice a Thrull". Also, it makes all of your Thrull-related cards synergistic with each other. What do you think?
That's certainly a much more flexible approach. For my purposes I'm not very concerned about small design space (I only have room for it on 12 cards anyway) but you're right that it increases synergy between the cards. It also allows for white to create tokens whenever, and have more white-appropriate sac effects. I'll certainly consider it, and anyone else thinking of using the mechanic for a more significant set/block structure would probably be well advised to go with the two-part version.
Why not implement both versions of the mechanic simultaneously. Low rarity cards can simply produce tokens that can sac themselves, while high rarity cards can have "sacrifice a thrull" effects, in addition to making thrulls that sac themselves...

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

My only hesitation to doing this is space in the rules text box. That said, here's an implementation of that idea (at mythic):
Teysa, Orzhov Matriarch1WB
Legendary Creature - Human Advisor (MR)
Sacrifice three creatures: Return target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a 0/1 white and black Thrull creature token onto the battlefield. It has “Sacrifice this creature: Each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.”

I like this mechanic, and I like how you've split it between white and black. My only complaint is the inequality between having each other player lose 1 life (or each opponent) versus you only gaining 1 life. The life loss should be targeted at just one player so as to balance with gain 1 life evenly.
