Hi guys im new to the forums and i like a lot what you have around here.
That said i have a competition with some friends to see who can make the better general for edh, i decided to go for a BUG general basically because i like that combination of colors and the mechanics, anyway i already made two conceps and i would really apreciate any suggestion or feedback about wich is better or what can be improved and here they are:
The right one has the problem that was avoided on Pharika: Getting a token with deathtoouch whenever a creature dies makes the card self-sufficient in a very negative way. Also the granting of the saboteur ability is not very visually appealing. I'd prefer the left variant any day of the week, but would still remove the deathtouch from the token.
If it is still too potent (which I assume pending testing), you could add a cost to the sacrifice ability. The greatest potential for abuse are obviously external sources for +1/+1 counters, but since that's what makes the card tick I wouldn't touch it directly. Testing it with proliferate.dec should give you an idea on whether it is too busted.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Yes indeed testing is pending, i just took the idea from phatom mage and tried to add that black flavor, so the first ability is simic, second and third are golgari, but im thinking now that you mentioned proliferate if the third ability insted of a 1/1 deathtouch token can be replaced for -1/-1 counters
Whenever a +1/+1 counter is placed on Ukto, the Blight Sage, you may draw a card.
Sacrifice a creature: Put a +1/+1 counter on Ukto. BG, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Ukto: Put a 1/1 black Zombie creature token with deathtouch onto the battlefield.
The three abilities loop through each other. You need another creature or a card like Burst of Strength to start, but after that it essentially becomes "BG: Draw a card."
1) Sacrifice a creature to a put +1/+1 counter on Utko.
2) Draw a card from the trigger.
3) Pay BG and remove a +1/+1 counter to get a creature token.
4) Lather, rinse, repeat
Something simpler and more printable would be to condense all of the abilities into one ability like Carnage Altar.
Deathtouch 3, Sacrifice a creature: Draw a card. Put a +1/+1 counter on Ukto, the Blight Sage.
Right version
Whenever another nontoken creature dies, put a 1/1 black Zombie creature token with deathtouch onto the battlefield.
Creatures you control have "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, that player discards a card and you draw a card. BG: Regenerate Ukto, the Blight Sage.
The first ability feeds itself. You kill one creature and you get a token with deathtouch. The token can then block a creature, kill it, and give you another token with deathtouch.
Giving Dimir Cutpurse's ability to all of your creatures should probably cost more. Sure you have to sacrifice your creature, but if it was a nontoken creature then you also get a hard to block token in exchange.
If this was just a larger and hard to kill Dimir Cutpurse, then it would be a lot more reasonable.
Deathtouch
Whenever Ukto, the Blight Sage deals combat damage to a player, that player discards a card and you draw a card. BG: Regenerate Ukto.
I think there's a place (especially in EDH) for cards that feed off of their own abilities like this. That's because, if you were to condense those abilities into a single ability, you'd lose a lot of opportunities for interactivity between your general and your 99. For example, Oloro makes you want to run lifegain, and that makes him interesting for EDH deckbuilding. I like Oloro.
So, the criticism I'd level at this guy is NOT that his abilities feed off of each other too much. If he's being printed for EDH, that's a good thing. My criticism is more that these abilities are just a little too broad to really spur a lot of deckbuilding creativity. Any deck that runs creatures, likes +1/+1 counters, likes removal, or likes to draw cards is going to love this guy. So he's dangerously close to just becoming a goodstuff.deq general. And nobody wants that.
The cost isn't necessarily offensively low. I mean, the fact that this guy isn't 1GUB and 6/6 speaks to the fact that you've thought about balance somewhat. But as a card with huge and versatile inevitability like this that can't really be stopped with anything short of a counterspell, I think he's too cheap for games with / against him to be any fun. I would do everything I could to grudge**** any player who ran this as a general into an early grave, because once he hits the board it's just so trivial to do obnoxious, degenerate things with him, even in the dumbest and least creative deck.
Thanks Silvercut i already have made a third card because the little flaws in design of the first and second, some of those were on purpose but i agreed with you in almost everything the fist one was ment to cycle and the second the wording was "unusual", anyhow this is the third i would like to hear what you think about it

Thanks man, yes exactly i tried to keep a balance in the card, i think there are 2 types of generals, like you said the ones who needs to interact with the rest of your deck and the ones that just need to be there (avacyn for example), i already upload another card i hope you can also give me you review
