Tribute to Darkness2BBB
Instant (Rare)
Target player sacrifices a creature. You draw cards equal to its power and gain life equal to its toughness.
Every once in awhile you get a removal spell that you wonder if it's constructed playable or not. Is it too expensive? Maybe. Too Devoted to one color? Perhaps. What do you get when you cross Disciple of Bolas and Momentous Fall? A black removal spell that can target your creatures to sacrifice as well as force an opponent to sacrifice his or her bomb. You benefit greatly from this. It's a interesting card I've been playing around with.

Enchantment (Rare)
Whenever you would gain life, you may gain twice as much life instead.
Pretty obvious where this card originated. Rhox Faithmender is a personal favorite, and so it seemed fitting to make an enchantment that does this.
Thune Battlepriest1WW
Creature - Human Cleric (Uncommon)
Flash
Whenever you or a permanent you control would be dealt damage, prevent 1 of that damage.

I wanted to take the idea of Plated Pegasus, but I wanted it to only work for you to make it less confusing. Now, it's a combat trick and protection all wrapped into one.
They all seem pretty decent. The enchantment seems a little underpowered compared to the faithmender. More devotion to the color, no legs on it. The faithmender also has lifelink, and is a decent blocker. So you would be safe to knock the cost down slightly if you wanted to.
Besides that, i would watch the wording of the cards. The cards you made would probably be worded a little more like the cards you posted as reference. More "ifs" and less "whenevers."

Whats the big deal about black lotus you ask? Well you see, there is no big deal about it. It IS the big deal.

Before Rhox Faithmender, there was Boon Reflection, which is essentially the same card as the one you're proposing, but at a slightly higher mana cost.
Thune Battlepriest is Hedron-Field Purists, except without the need to level up, and flash. (Yes, the Purists can live the dream of getting to level 5+, but considering how strong Jace the Architect's +1 is, I still think the Battlepriest is a little above the curve.)
Tribute to Darkness would be interesting if it could target, but I guess it'd have to cost one million at that point.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
