A Term of Venery - commonly called a collective noun, a way of describing groups of a thing - A Murder of Crows is a term of venery, a school of fish, pride of lions, etc. James Lipton has a book, called "An Exaltation of Larks," that lists all the known Terms of Venery. It has some interesting ones, like a Marvel of Unicorns, an Impossibility of Platypuses, and a Shiver of Sharks.
So help me come up with some cards with a specific Term of Venery as a title.
I'll start with two (The first is obviously inspired by Day of the Dragons, and my favorite kids movie "The Flight of Dragons"):
Flight of Dragons2RUW
Sorcery
Sacrifice any number of enchantments, put a 5/5 red dragon creature token into play for each enchantment sacrificed this way.
Marvel of Unicorns2WG
Instant
For each creature put into the graveyard from combat this turn, put a 1/1 white and green Unicorn creature token into play. These tokens have "~Must be blocked if possible."
A Few Starter Terms of Venery:
Extinction of Dodobirds
Quiver of Cobras
Romp of Otters
Streak of Tigers
Bloat of Hippopotomi
Smack of Jellyfish
Exaltation of Larks
Sesame of Locksmiths
etc.
It's also fun to come up with your own terms of venery, I've come up with "a pomade of pederasts" and either "a procrastination of dirty dishes" or "a sink of dirty dishes."
EDIT: At the suggestion of SecretInfilrator I removed the articles.
Siege of Herons :symw::symw::symu:
Instant
Put three 1/1 white and blue Bird creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
---
I personally like "Thunder of Dragons" most - terminology from the Inheritance series.
Thunder of Dragons :2mana::symr:
Sorcery
Multikicker :2mana::symr::symr:
Put a 5/5 red Dragon creature token onto the battlefield for each time ~ was kicked. Then ~ deals damage equal to the number of creatures you control to target creature or player. Why do they call a group of dragons that? If you ever hear the sound of many dragon wings, you'll know. Also you'll probably cower in fear.
Also the article in front of the term is distracting - neither Pack of Lions nor Murder of Crows has it, and I think for a reason.

Failure of Hermits2GG
Creature - Human Druid
Lands have ":symtap:Sacrifice this land: Search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library."
If Failure of Hermits is in your graveyard, you may sacrifice a land and cast it without paying its regular casting cost.
3/3
Not sure how to word the last ability. But basically it's a terramorphic expanse on legs.
So if I were to say "you're a complete douchebag who has his head up his ass so far he's using his own eyeballs as glasses," you'd simply shrug it off?
No trees were harmed in the sending of this message; however, a significant number of electrons were slightly inconvenienced.

I love this. How would the card work? It would have to out group hug a phelddagrif. How can it be bigger and friendlier?
Parade of Phelddagrifs1WGU
Tribal Instant - Phelddagrif [MR]
Exile target four Hippo tokens under target opponent's control, put a 4/4 blue green and white creature token into play called Phelddagrif into play under any target opponent's control.
This card has "G Phelddagrif gains trample until end of turn. Target opponent puts a 1/1 green Hippo creature token onto the battlefield. W Phelddagrif gains flying until end of turn. Target opponent gains 2 life. B Return Phelddagrif to its owner's hand. Target opponent may draw a card."
The art depicts a Parade of Phelddagrifs flying across a Bant Panorama
Now everyone has their own Phelddagrif!!
Edit: except Phelddagrif is Legendary, would the tokens be affected by the Legendary Rule if they're not specified as Legendary, and you already control an actual Phelddagrif?
Eyes are black creatures, so within the realm of Magic flavor A Watch of eyes should be black.
I like that within Magic flavor, Homunculii are depicted as goofy single-eyed critters. See doorkeeper and Sneaky Homunculus for example. I could see a group of them being called a Watch as well. .
Game of Drones2BB
Sorcery (R)
Put 3 2/2 black Drone creature tokens with "At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 1 life" onto the battlefield. "You win or you die."

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Shock of Spells2UG
Instant
Counter all spells. Put a 1/1 colorless Spellmite token with flying onto the battlefield for each spell countered this way.
Sighting of Cyclopi5R
Sorcery
Put two 3/3 Giant tokens with trample onto the battlefield. They have "As long as you control no other giants, this creature gets +4/+4 and can't block."
A Sighting of Cyclopi is great! I'm going to add that to my regular vocab.
A Misfortune of Vizzerdrix6U
Instant
Nontoken creature cards with no abilities become 6/6 blue Rabbit Beasts until end of turn. At the end of turn, shuffle those cards back into their owner's library.
Speaking of Vizzerdrix, from my Fallen Empires flavored cards:
Pod of Homarid6U Creature - Homarid (R)
Upon your upkeep, put a tide marker on Pod of Homarid. If there are four or more tide markers on it, remove all of them.
Pod of Homarid gets -3/-3 as long as there are no tide markers on it and gets +3/+3 as long as there are exactly two tide markers on it.
6/6
simplified mechanics from Homarid, but the same resulting ebb and flow in P/T
"upon" shortening "At the beginning of"
"marker" removing Ambiguity between counter and counter
Tangle of Gorgons1BB InstantU
Until end of turn, whenever a creature you control blocks or becomes blocked by a nonblack creature, destroy that creature at end of combat.
Split ends are the least of their worries.

So I was flipping through "An Exhaltation of Larks" today and realized that Board of Trustee is actually a term of venery.
Board of TrusteesWWWU
Creature - Townsfolk
Defender
When Board of Trustees comes into play, put an endowment counter on target creature. When target creature with an endowment counter deals damage to a player, search your library for all copies of that creature card and put them into play with endowment counters on them. When an endowment creature with a counter is removed from the game, remove all copies of that card that are in play from the game.
