So I've been looking at planeswalkers lately and I noticed that there are many multicolored ones. I think it's about time Wizards comes out with a Simic Planeswalker. It would be U/G and have to do with +1/+1 counters and drawing cards. Other than that, I'm not really sure of any specifics.
yeah that makes more sense and it goes well with the third ability. Maybe it could go something like: "look at the top 5 cards of your library you may reveal a card with graft from among them and put it into your hand, put one card on top of your library and the rest on the bottom of your library" or is that too long?

Planeswalker - Giv
{+1}: Put a +1/+1 counter on target non-planeswalker permanent, if it doesn't have graft it gains graft 1.
{-1}: Move any number of +1/+1 counters from target permanent onto another target permanent.
{-8}: Put a 0/0 blue and green Ooze creature token onto the battlefield with graft X where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on each creature you control and "this creature has all the activated abilities of each other creature with a +1/+1 counter on it."

Kovilov, Essence-Crafter 1GU
Planeswalker - Kovilov
{+2}: Put a +1/+1 counter on target permanent.
{-4}: Gain control of target permanent with a +1/+1 counter on it.
{-6}: All permanents with +1/+1 counters become Elemental creatures with power and toughness equal to their converted mana cost. (i feel like this deserves an addendum to remind people they still retain their supertypes.)

i like the idea of dumping Kraj on my side of the field, but it'd be nice to look into something directly not correlative to the Combine.
e: also internal debate on the "non-planeswalker" permanent clause, which seems ideal. getting a 3CMC volition reins is pretty unbalanced.
Yasril Ahn, Leafreader2GU
Planeswalker - Yasril
[+1] - Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card into your graveyard.
[-2] - Discard a card and then return another card of the same type as the discarded card to your hand.
[-7] - You get an emblem with "Whenever you cast a spell, you may return target card in your graveyard to your hand."*
[ 4 ]
* I don't actually think this requires an emblem.
Edit: Not actually Simic, but the whole "COUNTERS EVERYWHERE" aspect of GU is awfully overdone.
i'm inclined to agree, while i don't know what kind of untapped potential is in GU, it remains to be one of my more favorite pairings (despite limited representation in contrast to its peers).
e: love the title "Leafreader", btw. positing divination and nature, +1.

I once thought that blue had no place meddling with +1/+1 counters. After all, they're pretty much there to make creatures bigger, something blue doesn't really do.
Then, my friend introduced me to his proliferate deck, and now I'm a believer.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Are we thinking Simic as in Ravinca? Or just blue/green?
Either way, a Simic planeswalker feels like it's gotta revolve around creatures.

[+2] Look at the top two cards of your library. You may put a creature card from among them into your hand. Put them back on top of your library in any order.
[-3] Look at the top 5 cards of your library and reveal all creatures cards. You may put that many +1/+1 counters on each creature you control. Put the revealed cards on top of your library in any order and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.
[-7] You may draw X cards, deal X times 2 damage to target creature or player and put X +1/+1 counters on target permanent where X is the amount of creatures you control.

I'm thinking Simic should have a nice creature and search the library style feel.
Attempt 1:
Mortimur Vig2GU
Planeswalker - Mortimur
[+2] Put 2 +1/+1 counters divided as you choose, on up to 2 target creatures
[-3] Put a 0/0 Blue and Green Elemental Mutant creature token with "graft 3" on to the battlefield.
[-8] Gain control of all creatures with +1/+1 counters on them. Untap those creatures, until the end of the turn, those creatures get flying and trample.

Attempt 2:

Planeswalker - Mortimur
[+2] Look at the top 3 cards of your library. You may put 1 land from those cards into play tapped and add from those cards to your hand. Send the remaining cards to the bottom of your library.
[-3] Put a 0/0 Blue and Green Elemental Mutant creature token with "graft 3" on to the battlefield.
[-8] Put 5 +1/+1 counters on each creature you control. Until the of the turn, if they're green, they gain trample, if their blue they gain flying.

Salma Vig, Simic Expeditionary GGUU {5}
+1: Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control with Graft. Similar to Ajani's - ability, but also weaker to allow for more loyalty.
-2: Search your library for a creature card, and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle a creature you control with the same converted mana cost into its owner's library. Goes off the Simic Combine's ambition to create the perfect lifeform, changing one creature into a better one.
-8: Put a copy of each creature you control onto the battlefield under your control. These copies are blue and green ooze creatures, instead of any other color or type. Part Cytoshape, part Rite of Replication.
Simic Combine scientist with a flared spark, decides to seek out new life and new civ... no, wait, that's someone else's gimmick. Eh, either way, the goal being to find or make the perfect life form, as always for a Simic.

There are several problems with this planeswalker. Firstly, what if you have no creatures, then what? What if yuo have no creatures with Graft?

Well, first, the +ability doesn't target, so it CAN be used regardless. As for the second ability, its no less useless without creatures than Nissa Rivane's second.
As for not having creatures with graft, wouldn't that be a lot like putting Nissa Rivane in a non-elf deck? And even if you don't, for some reason, have graft creatures, you can still build loyalty for the other abilities.

What do you guys think it should be?
Here's what i'm thinkin:
+1: target creature gains your choice of flying or trample
-3: put a total of 5 +1/+1 counters on any number of creatures you control
-8: put X 1/1 unblockable cytoplast creature tokens into play where X is two times the number of +1/+1 counters on all creatures on the battlefield
