So the set Judgment had 7 Incarnations that all gave bonuses while in the graveyard: Anger, Brawn, Filth, Genesis, Glory, Valor, and Wonder. There is a full cycle of the uncommons, but only Green and White got rare ones (thanks to Judgment being heavily GW focused). Well that all changes today! Meet the lost Incarnations, banished from the plane and purged from memory!
Temptation4R
Creature - Incarnation (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, if Temptation is in your graveyard, you may pay 2R. If you do, gain control of target creature until end of turn. It gains Haste until end of turn.

"Slipping through the portal, Temptation offered promises always just out of reach."

Despair3BB
Creature - Incarnation (R)
Deathtouch
At the beginning of your upkeep, if Despair is in your graveyard, you may pay 2B. If you do, destroy target creature. it can't be regenerated.
3/1
"The rejoicing world fell quiet and Despair grew in the silence."

Deceit4U
Creature - Incarnation (R) 2U: Choose a creature you control. That creature becomes a copy of target creature until end of turn.. Play this ability only if Deceit is in your graveyard.
2/4
"Truths were hidden, and Deceit filled the air."
- Scroll of Beginnings, Lost Excerpts
Out of the three, I'm the least happy with Deceit. It was hard to come up with an ability that remained creature-focused, like the other nine in the cycle. If you have any suggestions, please do comment. I still think it could be better. (Another idea I had was using "Reason" instead of "Deceit" and have it focus on milling.)
EDIT 1: The changes to Temptation and Deceit I'm happy with, but I'm not sure about Despair. Now that it isn't tutoring for creatures, I'm not sure if I want it to be able to take down indestructible creatures or anything. I'm thinking of making it a sacrifice effect, making it more fitting with the flavor of Despair. Thoughts?

At the beginning of your upkeep, if Despair is in your graveyard, you may pay 2B. If you do, search target player's hand and library for a creature card, or choose a creature they control, and put that card into their graveyard. Then that player shuffles his or her library.

Temptation is way too good as is. I would change the effect to only last until eot.
Despair is horrifically overpowered. Paying 2B is chump change for being able to decommission any threat in the opponents deck (current wording also gets around protection, shroud, regeneration, and indestructibility). This card would be format warping.
Edit: This card is also obscene in any reanimator deck, as it allows you to drop any threat you want into your, or your opponents, graveyard.
Deceit is also too good. Allowing you to, on demand, turn all of your chum into the most powerful creature on the board for only 2U is a recipe for brokeness. Either raise the cost significantly, make it X for X creatures, or use some other drawback to balance this effect.
All very valid. I guess I was worried that they wouldn't be competitive with Genesis and Glory, both of which are very solid an useful.
From a flavor perspective I really liked having Temptation steal the creature only as long as it was around, but yeah, knocking it back until end of turn will probably be a lot better. Not quite a good as Genesis, but perhaps on par with Glory.
Despair was not meant to get around Protection or Shroud or the rest. Yes in my mind it was meant to be very Reanimator-friendly, but perhaps I went too far allowing for a repeatable tutor. I was thinking it could play nicely with Genesis. The tutor effect is certainly the more powerful or the two so perhaps something along the lines of just creature kill.
You know, I wasn't happy with Deceit at all, but perhaps making the copy effect target only one creature...
I can't imagine it cause someone couldn't leave the original cards. Give me something to compare the new versions to and I'll let you know if they were too good or not.

Colourless mana comes FIRST! Try actually looking at a Magic card some time. It is NOT UU3, it's 3UU. What game are you making cards for?
I can no longer tell people to check their card names, because I am made of suck and fail.
Unless the rules have changed since I last played magic, you probably want temptation to grant the stolen creature haste so that it can tap/attack while you have it.
With despair, I'd personally like it more if it killed nonblack creatures. A dark bannishing each round seems like more than enough. Then again, that may be just me.
That said, its phrasing is still awkward. How about this:
2U: Choose a creature you control. That creature becomes a copy of target creature until end of turn.
That works much better.

I'm not sure what exactly you're saying here. all 7 of the original Incarnations are linked in the opening paragraph. And the originals of these three are in the spoiler at the end of the first post.
Hmmm...

Good point about Temptation. Now that it doesn't steal creatures for more than a turn Haste is a requirement.
As for Despair...I think keeping it closer to the levels of Avatar of Woe or Visara the Dreadful would be better. Nothing wrong with black occasionally being able to take out black creatures, especially on a creature in the rare slot.
