Hi Sioux! I was wondering if I could request a zombie-birthing pod themed sig. My only side note is that no blue creatures are used besides phyrexian metamorph. Other than that, go to town and make it epic!

I am assuming you mean making a signature have clickable portions like web banners? I am familiar with the idea having done it years ago in a web design class I took but I would have to look the process up for simply creating such a thing in Photoshop. Why do you ask?

Do you have a link to a specific deck I may peruse to gain some inspiration from? Or should I just go to town as you said and use whatever zombies I want, plus the Birthing pod image, plus Phyrexian Metamorph? I could probably just look at some Zombie birthing pod decks around here and work out a design but a link would help the process immensely before I place your request into the work queue.
I recently got heavily involved in the UW Humans community, and i recently wrote a Primer. I was wondering if i could get a Humans sig that the link could be in bedded in it so that if they clicked on my sig it would take them to the primer.
If it would be too difficult I'm good with just a sig
The art, if you could, can be Champion of the Parish in the middle, Geist of Saint Traft on one side and Fiend Hunter on the other with Moorland Haunt somewhere in the background with "Haunted Humans" in the bottom right corner.
However, if you believe other pictures will work well together, my deck is in my sig. Whatever you think works together, i trust you. If seen your work, and i have to say some of it is quite stunning.
However, my one request is don't make it too gold themed. Honor of the Pure doesn't look as good in a sig as i thought it did...

If you can make that that would be great.
Oh, I was over thinking it. I thought you meant as in a clickable embedded button or link within the signature/banner itself like the ones along the bar at the top of the site.
Yes, I can probably do this for you. I have been thinking about doing that for my signatures but I have just been too lazy to take that last extra step so far.
Anyways, yes, I can do this signature for you with the requested bit of linking involved.
I'll plan it out and start cutting the images for it probably tomorrow if not Friday. I would expect a finished product no doubt by early next week.
Nice. There is a lot there to take from composition wise. SyntaxError, you have been added to the work queue.
Due to the fact I have another at least a handful of signatures at the moment essentially being planned out and images are being cut and readied for each one I would expect something in the latter half of next week.
As I said, I have no spefic requests; feel free to choose the best arts for your tastes. you can even use the seek the horizon art for azusa if you think it would look cool!
thanks again!
No problem. I just wanted something specific to go on so I don't just have Azusa and a bunch of elements you don't like.
Dalamar_85, you have been added to the work queue.
Due to the other two signature requests already in here, the free signature I'll be making next week and a couple previously requested side projects your signature will probably be done sometime next weekend though in that amount of work time It'll look pretty good.
I'm sure it will. anyway, take your time, I have no hurry.
as a more specific request, I like commander sigs in which the general is the only creature, but feel free to add any creature you think will fit well.
I like giving myself a deadline is all. It keeps me motivated...for the most part.
My general education classes at the moment however are driving me insane and are impacting the time for my sig shop and pretty much everything else in my life at the moment so yeah...
Anyways, I amended my rules weeks ago to address this subject anyways but I just like to give people days, times, or dates just to give them something to look forward to even if in the end I don't meet said days, times, or dates.
I got creative all over the place with this one. To be honest, it made me run into a million road blocks starting this one. I literally had to re-build portions of the pod itself with a couple tools and brushes but it came out looking well enough. The rest of it was actually exploring and experimenting. I cannot believe I forgot about my Gradient Maps after how much time I put in to finding all the different colors I needed for previous projects and tutorials.
I chose four zombies and neglected the horrors and other creatures entirely. I wanted to go with a more Movie poster approach but with the signature design so you have the floating head of Gravecrawler and a little dramatic lighting going on. The Diregraf Ghoul is supposed to be illustrating the idea of the Pod making zombies and, of course, the cat fit oddly well in the top right with little work. I like that cat.
As per the rules please place Sig.siouxwerks. below the image in your signature space.
I really went outside the box on this one with lighting, color, and composition so if you want something re-worked or an entirely new idea I will understand.
I'm making some progress on it. I was having an issue with this one too for whatever reason. I think I am just over thinking things due to the fact I have so much to work with image wise. I more or less have a strategy for this yours but it is still coming along. I have all the images ready but the fact that most of the images are much like the Barrin signature in that they differ in size, lighting, composition, and color I'm going to have to move things in a little more abstract direction. To be honest there was some family over on the weekend so not much work got done to the family functions and the like. Plus, one of my little cousins was picking up the martial arts I was teaching quite fast. It is getting there though. Look forward to the latter half of the week for your request.
I ended up doing DXI-Edge's first due to simply gathering the images for his first and finding myself suddenly inspired by the idea of a movie poster contrasted black and green theme zombie theme.
There is a loophole for that rule provided by the site owner explained here.
Essentially, just take the image you want to have in your signature, host it yourself or use the link from my account and place [*sigpicurl]The Image[*/sigpicurl].
It handles most signature sizes for your signature space. I think there is a limit but I am not sure myself. Just use that instead of [img].
From now on when I finish a signature I'll be sure to include an explanation of this process but also I'll put in my shop rules.
Originally, I had a more straightforward design with white clouds with bits of blue to meet the idea of U/W Humans but a snag occurred...a thunderstorm knocked out my power and I hadn't saved once. Needless to say I went into a rage at the gods, restarted my computer, listened to various musics to get me amped and then I set out once again and thus we have this.
I looked to my previous signatures for inspiration but also I felt some more clipping masks were in order as I was using them in the first version so why not this one too?
Once more I find myself going outside the box for these multiple subject ones which I guess is the norm the more I do them and the more of them I see in the other various shops. Sometimes there isn't even a theme or linking graphics just a bunch of characters crammed together.
Anyways, as per the shop rules please place, Sig.siouxwerks. below the image in your signature.

...Simply place this without the asterisks in your Signature Editing area and you will have not only your signature but a link to the UW Human Primer.
Its good and it looks great...but the art's seems small compared to the Moorland Haunt, which seems more like the focus. If the art's were more of the focus and less of the purple was focused i think it would look great.
The art's were probably not the most synergistic so i understand if its hard making them...work together well.
Edit: In fact, if the Geist and champion were made bigger to reset the focus to the character's themselves, i think it would work fine. the colours are great the more i look at it.

Oh, I apologize. I read the Primer and Moorland Haunt seemed to be a big player in terms of Deck Construction so I thought it was supposed to have focus in the signature and not just be a background element.

I will make the necessary changes ASAP.
haha i like that you read the primer. That shows me that your very into your work.
But Moorland Haunt is like the glue. The backset that seems kinda pointless but is actually really important to draw everything together, which i think it does with the colour transition from Purple to clouds, which looks sick with the geist.
Is this a little closer to the mark? I resized the Champion and Geist and reworked some of the background visual information behind the Champion to bring more focus to him and the Geist.
Thanks for putting up with my critiques it looks perfect
Hey, critiques are always a good thing and I am here to make a product, albeit it digital and free, but it is for you and it is making me a better digital artist in the long run so I am happy to do it to make my customers happy.
Oh and Dalamar_85, don't think I have forgotten about you, good sir.
Here is some progress.
