Hi all. I recently made stackable, 3D-printable counters for Power/Toughness, Life, Mana, Loyalty, Energy, and Abilities.
The top chip in the stack shows what it represents. The chips below that one are basic chips that can be used for all stacks. This way, you only need, for example, one Energy Chip, even if your stack has 10 energies. (9 Basics underneath one Energy chip.)
Are there any other abilities/effects I should add?
I designed the token itself. The symbols on the facings are the intellectual property of Magic the Gathering. They own the symbol copyrights. The abilities symbols were designed by Pamela Ansman-Wolfe for Duels of the Planeswalkers. Because I don't the copyrights to the symbols, these tokens are NOT FOR SALE.
This is really cool.
The ability markers are probably too much because that will create a lot of searching for something that is rarely used and usually only lasts one turn, but I guess you can just print the ones that suit your deck.
Have you considered distinguishing positive and negative values?
Some counters you have not presented yet: poison, fading/vanishing, charge, experience(if you play commander), level up, age(cumulative upkeep), time(suspend).
If you are looking for more of the game state markers: storm count, summoning sickness, color assignment, phased out, exiled, commander cast count.
I figured people could pick and choose the counters that would work best for them. I could see something like Flying be useful if they were called to create a token flying creature.
Have you considered distinguishing positive and negative values?
That's a great idea. I will probably do this with P/T but are there other counters that could benefit from negative values?
And thank you for the counter recommendations! I will look into those.

Probably not. The most prevalent are going to be -1/-1 counters, debuff spells cast on opponents' creatures, and flowstone type things (+1/-1). You could make a negative ability marker for the sparse cards that "lose flying" or "lose defender" but that is a bit of a stretch.

If you have access to a 3D printer, you can download the .stl files here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1815081
