Not too long ago I did an illustration of a sea serpent for a good friend of mine, heavily inspired by the MTG lore and aesthethics.
Thought I'd post it here for your comments. This was also an exercise in format and composition for me as I tried to fit the MTG standard illustration color scheme and ratio of 2:1,5.

Anywho. I really like the piece here. The balance and colors are wonderful. The warmer purples are a nice deviation from the overall coolness of the piece. It even looks good in the card frame. I would love to see more of your work.
