It's not like I love to make propaganda about Klug, nor even that I want to contradict you or to make feel bad anyone, but do you remember Klug's Muncha Queen? Ron Spencer's squirrel-themed Queens are brilliant too EDIT: Also, I've remembered one that Icbusybug did a couple of years ago, that was very very beautiful too (I'm wondering where's he/she. Anyone knows?)
I haven't posted in a while, so here goes. I'm not sure which of these I have already posted, so sorry if they are reruns.

@evilnerkinc thanks for the tip super helpful!
@closetvictorian thragtusk got swagger, nice!
@demonium your use of color is astounding, and that ying yang amulet there...I see what you did.
@Cardcandy I really like the your alters. Simple and clean, especially the crucible of worlds, feel like you used a protractor for the circle haha
@poxy thanks! I'm sure there are tons of betta silver queen, but I'm honored by your comment.
@blackbull and Bristol definitely better sliver queens. should just have a sliverqueen alter gallery haha. klug at the top!
@dr. teeth I really like the swamp! super creative and scary and phyrexian!
@pochy thank goodness I refreshed to see your awesome pieces. Ingenious alter!! holy cow is that clever and awesome looking. I wonder who it is that betrayed Mario to the holy roman bowser
Some more stuff!
Should have picked a better card (now that counterflux is out). Oh Klug did this art justice, just putting that out there.
@rawful~thanks for the compliment! I really like your alters. The elspeth is especially brilliant. When I first started to get serious about art, I took to drawing anime...cause even though I'm a girl, I've always been a nerd and never missed a single issue of newtype, or shonen jump. I love the style. Very clean. Great work on the last word as well.
As far as the crucible goes, I wish I had used a protractor. I was bored at fnm..felt like painting while my bf drafted. It was a good way to make time pass
Edit: I must say, seeing all these great anime alters has me feeling a bit nostalgic. To remedy that, I started work on a simple plains alter...an homage to my favorite anime, "ghost in the shell". It's still far from being done, but here it is.
Also, my other alter for tonight, a nameless restoration angel. Cheers!
Here's my first attempt! I'm looking to try and get into doing this just for myself to pimp out my cube and such, so any constructive criticism is much appreciated!
@bigeyes: what type of paint are you using? I find that golden fluid acrylics work best for me when altering.
Also, when doing a textless extension, try to imagine the natural continuity of the image..what is going on in the picture? What would you like to see happen? These are questions I often ask myself when doing these kinds of alters.
Sometimes it helps me to first base the text area in a thin coat of black or white..then sketch out the painting with some light pencil/pen.
You don't have to worry about keeping it all neat and inside the lines. You can just use a toothpick dipped in a bit of water to gently scrape off any unwanted paint.
Otherwise, I look forward to seeing more of your work as you continue along the path of altering
I did this alter on commission. He sent me a picture of a holographic Sensei's Divining Top with this image painted onto it, and asked if I could make him one, too. I did my best, but I'd still like to give credit to the original...
I can't help put think that I've seen the image somewhere before. Is it from an existing Magic card?
Progress on Animar.dec going to be my first (and PROBABLY only) fully altered commander deck. Last time I posted it was 52% complete. Now, 74% You can see all the indavidual images @Peneff123Alters on the Twits. Sorry for the lousy picture.

@Cardcandy nice motoko! love your clean style.
@pochy wow, them evangelion pieces are sweet, I would be honored to be stifled by any of those eva.
@Bigeyes1992 very good first attempt. I would suggest that you work on your blending, into the back ground. Try adding more cool colors like blue to each blend, this adds extra depth.
@fallet wow I love your land alters, the blending/matching is really good.
@demonium71 you should not sleep more often and crank out these amazing pieces! enough said. (but seriously sleep is important)
@closetvictorian very accurate art!!
@wm00 where is that lightning elemental from? Anyways whether original or some kind of reference, its spectacular!
@seesic evilnerdinc is right, upped the ante! love the steamvents, its soooo unique.
@Peneffer sweet deck I'm seeing. I'm doing the same too only with lots of character references.
@Evilnerdinc not much to be said, clean and well matched!
Some more stuff!

Pretty awesome page of alters. High quality works. Nice original art and nice color blending on the extensions.
@Plaguefather, if that Elish Norn was one of my commissions, I would try to clean up around the edges a tad more. I think ppl have been calling that 'line work' Also, your top right hand corner, around the mana cost, looks a bit too grey. If its not too late, I think those couple things would go a long way towards making it look exceptional. It's the fine details that make a great extension, as I'm sure you're aware of.
