That is a tight alter, and i think the argument can be made that superheros are all just brave 1/1 that got lucky/enchanted.
only criticism is the lack of background, however the concept is very strong.
Thanks for the comments! I appreciate it. I didn't do a background because I was hoping that it might be tournament legal. But, I may add one in the future though.
Yurius, that snake would pop a lot more if it had some shadowing under it on the right hand side. Very solid "fixed signature'.
Futantshadow, those "big up's" are awesome. Executed very nicely. They seem to flow together so well. Turns the card into something completely different and awesome!
The death baron, grimoire of the dead, and fiend hunter are all inspired by Sam Raimi's Army of Darkness. The Cascade Bluffs is inspired by Terese Nielsen's guru style lands.
As always, the boss comes out with the most awesome style ever! Good looking cards ;D All of them are amazing! But the Necromancy reminds me of the animate dead's you did earlier and they were something special without a doubt!

Good lord, this is beautiful. Was the inspiration drawn from anything in particular? Was it a commission? Outstanding work.
Somehow I missed this... but thanks! The commissioner requested that I use the Temple of the False God I did a while back as a starting point, but other than that there's no specific inspiration. I think I wanted to convey a place that was desolate and bleak using a hot color palette. Most of my alters start with an idea for a color scheme.
Fantastic work! Very sharp work. Love the moon in the background.
Newest alter I did this past week.

Nice work!
Iron Man is totally a 1/1. He just uses all sorts of equipment.
Are you ready for the Gore-Nado? (oh god, I'm so sorry)
Also, I made this tower for your eyebits:
Playing with Guru for the next one, should be fun.

I really love that kird ape for some reason, also I've always had an affinity for foil stifle alters so it's always cool to see another.
Here are a couple of alters I did yesterday based on some of his work.
