I have wanted a tattoo for about ten years now, and I think this year is finally the year. I'd like to get a half-sleeve of a MTG card art, simply because it's one of the only things I've been into for more than a decade.
I had unique interpretations of the Tarot cards "The Devil" and "Judgement" tattooed on my shins. It's not the best picture, but "The Devil" is clearly inspired by Grinning Demon
You've beaten me beforehand! I was planning to get a tattoo in my left forearm too, includding the five mana symbols, but in a sleeve style (surrounding all my forearm, from the elbow to the wrist) My ex even made the design for me as a birthday gift last week while I was on a trip at the big city porteña, Buenos Aires. The thing was that I had not enough time to be tattooed by him, neither could get the design back to give it a try here in my city due to a lack of space in my suitcase (neither wanted to carry it on my hand to avoid accidents.)
Anyway, the original background in that design is a wickerwork, with the symbols spreaded around, having the green and black ones surrounded by a spiny vine. Now, I'm starting to think that replacing the wickerwork with a sort of lattice of mail (like in the coats of mail) would look much better. What do you ppl think?
Now I'm not sure... But I'll probably end getting that one in a way or another. I'll post pics of the design once I get it back and, of course, I'll definitely post pics of it in case I get it tattooed! :cool2:)

I think you should go for the spiny background.
Finally getting my Cabal Therapy tattoo. This is the first of three sessions
I started magic back when I was really young and didn't understand, I'm 17 now. I bought my first starter deck back in 7th edition.
Magic's been a really big influence on my life and I actually wrote my college application on it.
Last winter I was looking through my closet and found a box of yugioh, pokemon and my old magic cards! I was so excited hoping to find some modern or legacy staples (sadly none). I did how ever stumble upon my favorite art, Dark banishing.
My first tattoo, it's very semetrical weird muscle thing going on in this pic that's stretching one side.. I love it!going to add tentacles and lightning to it later
Hi. I m new here.I have two tattoos, but I am at work and can't access all my pics
A cross on the inside of my right wrist - as a personal reminder to myself that all of my action should be led by God.
A tree on my leg - to symbolizesimbol of life -below)
and at the moment, I love the idea of getting watercolor phoenix on my right wrist.
Screw it. I'll post this one here too. One of the local MTG nerds came to me wanting a big Black Lotus tattoo and I had to help him out.
Oh, this one looks very beautiful! I like the tattoos with flowers and animals too, I even made this one with a giraffe during the last year
I also adore different symbols and the tattoos with hearts, especially in such style as here http://stylemann.com/best-anatomical-heart-tattoo-designs/ for example :)I think that it's the truth that after getting the first tattoo you can get an addiction with them because I want to add the second one on my spine in the the future, probably smth like on this pic :):)
I've done a few more MTG related tattoos since I posted that one.
Here's a cover up that was about as close to impossible as I thought I'd run into but we found an image from Mirage that worked.
Another one that's mostly finished, but we're doing a bunch of stuff on the back to are hiding off until we get that figured out:
Beautiful work, Galspanic. That Incinerate coverup is amazing. I'm actually trying to work out where you hid the original piece....the sickle's handle is the burning guy's upper arm, yes? Either way.... Amazing.
I think Sangrophage would make an excellent tattoo
Draft My Cube!
March Artwork Contest's theme is about tattoo design, and I thought you would like to know.
C'mon, give it a try!
Actually they're "to count", "corner", and "younger brother".
I can confirm that. Another unfortunate Chinese character tattoo.
