Thats pretty straight forward, GT has worse power creep, Wizards at least TRIES to pull back the power creep periodically (example Kamgawa) GT is just adding more power on top of more power on top of more power on top of more power, when you start throwing things like "I'm now 1000x more powerful than was (Friza) and still getting but kicked by goku while I have an ally who was also super powered up and were at one time "take over the galaxy powerful," that says power creep overdrive. no contest,
I agree GT has many powercreeps, but your advice that Kamigawa was really bad is wrong, there are good cards in Kamigawa that can be used to think out of the box.

Casual crazy magic player, otaku maniac, unrully cosplayer, what did you expect me to be?
In GT, two of Frieza's henchmen come to earth. Vegeta says that they are each as strong as Frieza now. Goku responds with how Frieza in hindsight was not too difficult of an opponent, and then says, "Perfect for the kids."
So yeah, that's just a taste of how much power creep happened in DragonBall.
Moreover, the thing about gauging Magic's power creep is that Magic in Alpha/Beta/Unlimited was the most broken Magic's ever been. You didn't have restrictions or ban lists, you didn't have any restrictions on how many nonbasic lands you could use, you had the option of a forty card deck, and the Power Nine were all available, not to mention several other notable cards like Dark Ritual and Demonic Tutor. (In fact, a more useful debate would be if any subsequent block could match this level of power.)
It isn't power creep if the first set was at least among the most blatantly overpowered sets in the history of the game. And this is up against DragonBall GT, which is the go-to example of rampant powercreep. Not a contest.
