*correction it seems these are only marvel characters. in the picture, I also have a hard time beliveing hulk would beat them solo, (I still feel they will lose but not that baddly) they are EXTREMELY stupidly fast, and the energy attacks they can use are likewise that quick, (and at the end of the series the universes so powerful that destroying planets isn't even in the radar just to weak an attack to even give a crap) Throw in GT... and it actually might be a close match. as Omega Shenron was a dragon capable of granting his own wishes so they have fought opponents of that calbure. also no one said they were working together might turn in to one grand melee....

Off the top of my head, the characters that could fight against their power sets are:
Hulk
Sue Storm
The Leader
Galactus
Sentry
Thor
Gladiator
Rogue
Mimic
The Pheonix
Emma Frost
Dr. Doom
Essentially Magic or Psychic Abilities can fight them, as can similar power levels. Pit them against World War Hulk Hulk and they're pretty much beat (like first Broly movie beaten, for the most part)
Sue storm has no chance her force fields are incredibly weak sadly , and the leader is not that powerful , hulk isn't great unless they land.
Instant transmission means these guys are damn fast.
Add magneto and prof x to the list of people that could certainly put up a fight though.
Sue Storm can simply pinch of the flow of oxygen to their brains. Which she has been shown to have the capability of doing.
Her forcefield strength depends entirely on her frame of mind and will power. Her forcefields can allow people to survive black holes, for instance. She's actually one of the most under-rated heroes out there. If Vegeta threatened her children, he would die.
Magneto doesn't really stand a chance, honestly, he's powerful, but not in a way that will help him against Goku and Vegeta's power sets.
The Leader has mind control capabilities, which Goku and Vegeta don't really have a defense for.
The Leader has mind control capabilities, which Goku and Vegeta don't really have a defense for.
1) Where did you get that idea? Goku has shown some psychic feats (foretelling, telepathy, telekinesis), which is a far cry from "not having a defense".
2) Vegeta has been shown to be EXTREMELY resistant to mind control. He has to allow it, which sort of defeats the purpose.
Goku is implied to be immune, at least to Babidi's.
The problem is the Saiyans won't even enter the atmosphere, they can blow up the planet with ease from space
Except that the characters that can beat the sayains can easily tank a planet explosion and the vacuum of space.
And it's nowhere NEAR being in character for the saiyans to just blow up a planet for fun. Unless we're talking about the Vegeta from pre-cell saga where he was evil enough to just do it. In which case he stands no chance whatsoever.
Goku could easily solo 90% of the characters in that picture at the same time. The issue is that a couple of them are stupidly powerful. Is that Galactus back there?
I suggest you read World War: Hulk... He's often referred to as Worldbreaker... Yes, he's destroyed planets...
He still can't fly. Also, I gotta say, Instant Transmission gives DBZ the edge if Goku goes for 1-2 at a time & drops em off in the middle of space or some other planet to isolate or just kill them off.
Goku solo most of them but can't deal with all of them alone. With Vegeta, it's a complete other story. Heck, Goku and Vegeta are way above the gods from the DBZ world, so it wouldn't be hard to say that they actually surpass those so called gods from Marvel. Also, did you put any archenemy to any of those Marvel heroes in the picture? If so, then why would they ally themselves against two sayans with enough power to obliterate a solar system? (Vegeta destroyed planets when he worked for Frieza and sayans have the base raw power in their ape form to actually lay complete waste on a planet, Super Sayan form is hundred of times more powerfull than ape form and both of them almost had enough raw power to anihilate Buu, which could be actually compared to Superman, when they challenged him, it follows logic that given the time since the end of the Dragon Ball manga, both of Vegeta and Goku surpassed that power level, as shown at the actual end of the manga when Goku goes to teach Uub).
Conclusion: Goku and Vegeta wins.

Casual crazy magic player, otaku maniac, unrully cosplayer, what did you expect me to be?
an interesting fight, as normal the sayins are going to win on the speed front, they are scary fast, however if any of the bad guys have time manipulations the sayins are donefor. (radits during the beggining of DRZ was "faster than the speed of light) and he was the the WEAKEST foe they ever fought. Raw speed would almost garentee them the win however time manipulation trumps speed. thats my thoughts on this.
He still can't fly. Also, I gotta say, Instant Transmission gives DBZ the edge if Goku goes for 1-2 at a time & drops em off in the middle of space or some other planet to isolate or just kill them off.
Please no! you re opened this can of worms.
The problem with this is the "setting". How are goku and vegeta? For most of the series, they tend to talk and powerup and stuff not really taking the fight seriously until after. This means death for them in this fight vs a few. If they are Serious as **** (SaF) (tm) then they solo 99% of the picture. I'm including hulk and superman and dark phoenix.
Two things tip the favour towards Marvel and DC.
1. Comics. These are comic book characters. The problem with comic book characters is that their powers are wildly inconsistent. And so are their weakeness. Superman has been beaten in a wrestling match by a guy who can't even lift a truck. He's also "Plowed" through a planet made of kryptonite (his supposed only weakness) and was virtually unharmed. Superman's power level goes from below Krillin to nigh omnipotent (superman prime is actually omnipotent). Comics also tend to add a lot of nonsense to their comics, and fans tend to use those to support their points (you can easily cherry pick strengths, and ignore various weaknesses) Comics will have stuff like "he was so strong, when he flexed the blue car became red." to which comic fans will go "Has goku ever changed the color of anything by flexing? No? Then He's weaker." It's plain stupid.
2. The Living Tribunal. I'm actually All in favour of Goku and Vegeta (imagine if they fuse into Gogeta SS4) except for this guy. He is in another realm worth of power. To explain, Marvel likes to make progressively stronger and stronger beings. so they made one called "The One Above All" which is super incredibly powerful and has every power. He also appears in every comic. The "One Above All" represents the author. The living Tribunal is directly under "The One Above All". He's not an entity that represents an out of comic force like "The One Above All" is to the author to my knowledge, but he also isn't really a character either. He doesn't really participate except a few times and is mostly seen as a prop (in the same way that the "One Above All" is.) He just doesn't count.
Apart from the Living Tribunal, if Goku and Vegeta were going all out, they'd solo everything.
Pre-Crisis Superman would murder everyone on accident here by sneezing.
Post-Crisis Superman (Silver Age) He could probably hold up a fight 1v1 fairly well with Goku or Vegeta.
New 52 Superman. No clue how he'd fare against them as I haven't read any New 52 comics.
But, this is Marvel, so, I don't know any of the higher 'God-tier' characters. Just a fan of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man there. I KNOW, he'd be crushed obviously.
First off, Superman isn't in the image. It's an image of just marvel characters, not DC ones.
Second off...please. Seriously. Get over Goku and Vegeta.
Could they beat the vast majority of folks in that picture, without breaking into a sweat? Absolutely. No problems.
Can they beat Thanos? almost certainly not. Same with Galacticus, Dr Strange, and probably magneto, among others.
Can they beat all of those at once?
Not a chance in hell.
And if it IS intended to include DC: Superman is an order of orders of magnitude more powerful than Goku, assuming pre-crisis superman. He beats them before they even know the fight has started. (And he'd lose, hard, to the array of marvel characters displayed above).
Pre-Crisis Superman would murder everyone on accident here by sneezing.

Pre crisis supes is the biggest example of weird ***** ever. he is so strong his muscles can hold his molecules together.
Seriously, Superman is still walking into the super power aisle of your not cornerstore for superheros. He's not belonging to an author anymore while Goku and Vegeta still belongs to an author. I think I saw Superman at a Superheros gone bad anonymous circle meeting the other day. He was crying that he wanted to stop being always powered up wsith no actual backstory to back him up anymore. GG DC/Marvel, you destroyed a superhero that was supposed to be good by overpowering him.

I don't think anyone is disagree that superman is an awful, awful character (although I can't understand why people think Goku is a GOOD character).
We're just saying that Goku and Vegata lose to "superman and every other comic book character, and maybe to just superman"
I absolutly detest that video. Ever since it came out, people are just posting it as an argument. It gets refuted, and people forget and seem tow ait until the next time.
For the record, the screw attack version of goku loses to vegeta when vegeta first landed on earth.
Vegeta could destroy planets at that point, but screw attack goku cant.
and if you will notice, they back up their reasoning with the OFFICIAL MATERIAL from the MANGA! They even gave him the telekenisis that he only got in FILLER.
I mean, seriously! I admit, Goku and Vegeta are immensely powerful. BUT! there are PLENTY of members of the Marvel EU that can go toe to toe with them, and a couple who can beat them.
Let's take Thanos, for example: if Goku and Vegeta can have anything they want from any timeframe, then Thanos gets the Infinity Gauntlet, and rewrites reality to remove them from existence.
Or Professor X, a telepath so powerful that the only real defense is to not let him in your head in the first place.
Then there is Galactus, who makes Thanos his lapdog for a good while.
And the Phoenix, probably the ONLY telepath to surpass Professor X in power.
Then (and I know he is not usually mentioned) there is Gambit. holy crap, Gambit. He throws a charged playing card, accelerates the kinetic energy in it, and levels a house. Then, he can transform into the Horseman Death, and turn air into toxic poison at will. Ya know that heart virus that almost killed Goku? guess what's back! and it's in Vegeta, too!
Iron Man is a technological and tactical genius, and given time will simply create armor designed to counter Sayians specifically. He is shown to be able to do this simply by observing footage of an opponent fighting, and in a matter of days.
Captain America, while not able to compete physically, is another tactical genius who knows how to use the talents of people effectively and how to inspire them to new levels.
Thor was able to fight continuously in Asgard during one comic line for 1000 years. straight. He has tanked just about everything, and with Mjolinir (which, btw, if it were any bigger could not be held) he is a one man nuclear arsenal.
Spider-Man's spider sense allows him to dodge almost any attack, and he is fast enough to dodge AUTOMATIC GUNFIRE. He is also able to tank the Hulk, punch out SEVERAL dinosaurs in one hit, and is an incredible improviser.
A note: Instant Transmission is NOT teleportation, per se. You have to recognize someone's Ki signature, and move yourself there. Also, it requires a decent amount of concentration to pull off, which you're not really going to get when you have either Professor X or the Phoenix attacking your mind constantly.
And a note on the whole Mind Control thing: Babidi did not actually control Vegeta's mind. all he did was harness the darkness in Vegeta's heart to control him. There was no mental dominion involved. So, I really do have reason to question at least Vegeta's ability to resist actual mind control
