If i linked anyone that webpage, if they click on it they are given the page straight from the top.
my question is: is there some way I can modify the link so it will take anyone who clicks on it down to the level of say market street when the page loads?
Is there a technique for doing this that I could use on other webpages?
I need to make several links that take you to a different up or down levels of a webpages for this project i'm working on and if i could make direct links that go to the different sections along the webpage it would make my project look much better.
thanks for your help!

if i understand what its explaining right, the website would need to have 'anchors' built into its code?
without anchors can you type a links web address and then add an instruction to jump down to the desired section? or maybe even jump to first instance of a word on the website?

Unfortunately no. The name or id attribute within the anchor tag (or other html tags) is what makes it work. There isn't any other way that I know of to accomplish that effect.
maybe you can use http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums as example webpage.
