Finally had a Murphys at a local dive bar, and I have to say, I don't get the hype. It felt a tad thinner than Guinness, more sharply bittered, and its overall flavor was a bit lacking, with the barest hint of chocolate on the back end.
Have you had either the Guinness Extra Stout or the Guinness Foreign Extra? Unlike the regular Guinness or Murphy's, they're not nitro stouts, and they have a much deeper flavor and more bitterness going on. I would recommend them.
Man I'm so far off what most people in here are drinking I can't stand most of the stuff you guys have mentioned that I recognize. I love hard ciders, including Angry Orchard, but Glacial Till is my favorite. Other than that the only beers that I can stand to drink are Blue Moon (my favorite) and then stuff like Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy and Lemon Shandy. First beer I had was some wheaty crap that my dad let me try when I was 11. I generally prefer vodka and rum if I'm going to drink though, takes less to get me where I want to be. Beer is for when I'm at a restaurant with friends or anywhere else that I don't actually want to get drunk but I still want to drink.
In summary, Blue Moon is my kinda beer and pretty much the only one I drink with regularity. I respect that you guys can enjoy all that other stuff though, I could never stomach it.

Not sure if it's available too far outside of the PNW, but the Elysian Night Owl Pumpkin Beer is amazing. I've probably had about a dozen pumpkin beers in my life, and this is orders of magnitude better than the rest. Very well spiced, not overwhelming on any particular notes, just the right amount of hoppiness and sweetness.
I have heard lots of things about Elysian Night Owl and all of them amazing. I will have to try.
Right now, it's DuClaw's amazingly named Sweet Baby Jesus! Peanut Butter and Chocolate Porter. It sounds odd, but it honest to god tastes like a dark chocolate Reese's cup. With some nice coffee notes at the end too. Really funky and worth a shot if you wanna try something different.

Literally one of my favourite parts about fall is Pumpkin Spice Ales. I love the one made by Great Lakes Brewery up in Ontario, Canada
It really depends for me. I'll drink just about anything just to try it.
Main go to's
Ballast Point - Victory At Sea,
Stone - Arrogant Bastard, Ruination, Self-Rightness, and if you can find it Russian Imperial Porter Stout 2015 it tastes just like thanksgiving.
Sapporo - Premium Beer + Sake
Drunk Days
Deschutes - Abyss 22oz It has a smooth taste even though its 11% with 80 IBU and about 20$ a bottle its well worth it. And its as dark as the name.
Lengthwise - Zus Very tangy and not that harsh, tastes of light orange and hops.
Easy day's
Angry Orchard - Crisp or Green Apple - Drink the neck and pour in Fire Ball for what I call Apple Pie.
I'm pretty excited for Brewdog. They are opening their American brewery about 30 minutes away from where I live. They are supposed to have a tap room, if so I'll be a happy man.

love Brewdog also.
I'm glad I live in the only city in the south hemisphere with a brewdog bar on it... lol.
I like brewing my own, but am pretty easy. Guiness is a great stout, but definitely tastes better in Ireland, no idea why! My favourite beer in the USA would be anything New Glarus, that brand rocks. Here in Aus I have to say I love anything from Lucky Bay Brewing, but that's hard to get outside of Esperance. Tooheys Old for a dark ale, or James Squire 50 Lashes for a pale ale!
I also don't mind the odd corona with a chunk of fruit in it during a hot day.
I recently tried a beer I had never seen before and was completely blown away. The Stillwater Extra Dry Sake Style Ale. Brewed with sake rice and some otherwordly source of water (imo). This beer will appeal to the sour crowd - 4.2% but it is the most crisp and crushable beer I have tasted in some time. 4x16oz packs.
Shared a big bottle (75cl) of Averbode yesterday. Excellent beer.
Good harmony, very flavorful aroma's after opening (outdoors/farm), extremely balanced.
Drank it a little too cold, but that's my own mistake.
Afterwards I switched to aged Orval (also a little too cold).
Went smoothly, and this only speaks for the quality of Averbode.
Edit: a little surprised by the relatively low rating at ratebeer. Maybe because people tasted the small bottles? I found it flavorful and harmonic, not sure what more one would expect, especially if you consider the 7,5 alcohol percentage. Was a solid seven in my eyes. Anyway, de gustibus...

These are the decks that I have constructed, and are ready to play:

Oooh, how aged?
I need to do more aging of the Trappist beers. Gonna go on a Rochefort 10 run soon.
