Here's my fun one, its great for telling to kids:
A ship is docked in a harbor. It has a ladder with 10 rungs, each rung is 1 foot apart from the one above it. If the water reaches the third rung, and the water level is steadily rising at the rate of 1.5 feed per hour, how long will it take until the 9th rung is under water?
