About any "subpar" mechanics or cards: Context is king.
If I make a templating or grammar error, let me know.
The franchise MtG most resembles is Battlestar Galactica. Why? Its players exist in, at most, a dozen different models at any given point in time, with perhaps up to 3% variation, 5% if you're lucky.
My condolences go out to Justin "JewWario" Carmical's wife, family, and friends including JewWario himself. I admire him for helping gamers get into importing Japanese video games that are in most cases region locked these days in his web series "You Can Play This" which I really enjoyed. His emphasis on Japanese pop culture in video games especially anime/manga was great as well and the cameos he made on That Guy With The Glasses was pretty cool IMO.
I remember when I was disappointed that he left That Guy With The Glasses.com since he was one of the best reviewers on the site next to Nostalgia Critic, Linkara, Spoony, Angry Joe, Nash, Suede, Todd in the Shadows, and Bennett the Sage. I loved the cameo he made with Linkara and Suede when they reviewed Mewtwo Strikes Back, The Power of One, and Spell of the Unown. It's almost hard to believe that JewWario was at MAGFest 3 weeks ago and all the sudden he commits suicide from his struggle with depression.
Before he rose to fame on That Guy With The Glasses.com and even on ScrewAttack.com like every Internet reviewer he got his start on YouTube back in 2006 before YouTube was a thing in pop culture. To carry out his legacy I'll post a link to his YouTube channel including his main website below and If you can subscribe then more power to you. Wherever he is he would appreciate it!
"Restriction breeds creativity." - Sheldon Menery on EDH / Commander in Magic: The Gathering
"Cancel Culture is the real reason why everyone's not allowed to have nice things anymore." - Anonymous
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" - Mark 8:36
"Most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution." - Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
"Every life decision is always a risk / reward proposition." - Sanjay Gupta
EDIT: I was off by a bit it seems, I didn't hear about it until the 25th, sorry, sorry, sorry.
