KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
But didn't the team have sunlight before everything happened? The show made a big deal of showing the sun going down in that final scene.
Nah, that was just supposed to be a signal of doom setting in. They never said anything about having sun at first, only that NASA sent them with solar panels (which were useless)

Can I just say that, it's not like AoS is a crap show, but this season Ian De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge have been turning in performances far above and beyond what it calls for? Like, get these two a riveting BBC drama or something.

I have to say, I'm really glad I stuck with this show. It went from bad, to borderline watchable, to damn good.
Part of that is due to a fantastic cast that has just been allowed to cut loose. The actress who plays Daisy/Skye doesn't even make me want to cringe anymore.
HOW THE HELL DID WARD SURVIVE THAT? AND MAKE IT BACK THROUGH THE PORTAL? My only theory is that the creature possessed him or something and somehow made it out?

For an immortal evil that is the ultimate culmination of millennia of Hydra plotting, it sure went down easy. Yeah, it got back up again, but seriously? A few pistol rounds and a flare? Most mid-level supervillains don't even bat an eye at that kind of treatment.

Possibly it can only add so much to the body it is in. It has after all been seriously underfed recently; in the last decade it's had 4 hosts total And mayybe it needs muguffin X (like sunlight; would make the choice of world make more sense) to be stronger

How did the monster know so much about Fitz and Simmons? Does it obtain the memories of its host? How did it know about the no fly zone. How did it make it through the portal without anyone noticing? How did this single creature bring down all these other civilizations? Kill the leaders and take on their identities? I dunno, they built up so much mystique around this creature, and then underwhelmed it all by making it go down super easy

Apparently, Ghost Rider. Unexpected place for him in the MCU, to say the least.
Specifically the Robbie Reyes ghost rider, who is the newest and least known. It leaves Johnny Blaze still open, and they could establish spirits of vengeance as a thing?
When I heard about that guy, I was completely baffled. How can you manage to screw up the Ghost Rider? The entirety of his identity is "animate Guns N' Roses album cover". Flaming skull, leather jacket, motorcycle. Not complicated.

I love it, ever since The Winter Soldier bombshell, the show finally found a style that wasn't just "We're in the MCU with a monster of the week" format and has only gotten stronger.
I'd imagine that the time slot move gave the writers room to give the show a dark tone for this season which I thought was an extra kick that this show could use.

It'd save on the special effects budget, at least.
